HOOOONDOOO & KIT FISTOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there, thank you very much for uploading . Please bear in mind that all images that you upload must have a summary box. Don't worry, Brules has filled that in. Besides the source, you need to cite the licensing and the category that the images falls into. I also recommend reading Wookieepedia:Images for more information. Thank you for your contribution and wish you all the best at Wookieepedia. Andykatib 02:11, December 11, 2016 (UTC)

Hello there! I see that you've uploaded good pics of Thrawn and Sabine from Star Wars: Force Arena, which were likely extracted from the game files. Great! :) Do you think you could do the same thing with Evaan, Yogar Lyste, and Governor Pryce? -- 15:07, April 9, 2017 (UTC)

I have taken thos off of Twitter. Sorry.--ZapikCZ () 22:44, April 15, 2017 (UTC)

Hey, you don't need to move the Jedi of the Republic—Mace Windu 1 as it is on the right page as it is, if you look at Star Wars: Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir you would notice it is the same --Lewisr (talk) 17:22, May 25, 2017 (UTC)

Yes, actually, you did have time. There's an upload form for a reason. Use the guided upload form, follow instructions, and your images won't be deleted. IFYLOFD 15:47, June 2, 2017 (UTC)

I very much doubt that's worth having a page on here, could be worth adding to the behind the scenes section on C-3PO's page --Lewisr (talk) 15:49, July 15, 2017 (UTC)

I noticed you moved the page, you need to add the source where the name was used or it'll likely get moved back --Lewisr (talk) 23:24, July 15, 2017 (UTC)

Hey! I replied regarding this, I agree with what you are suggesting so I'll leave it upto you to take the best course of action --Lewisr (talk) 13:39, July 24, 2017 (UTC)

Hey, Zapik! I think you're right, the article should be moved to the shorter title. For whatever reason, I was thinking short story collections were listed as an exception on the naming policy, but they aren't. Thanks for getting this cleared up! - Cwedin 22:34, July 28, 2017 (UTC)

Hey I have replied to the respective pages --Lewisr (talk) 19:39, August 3, 2017 (UTC)

Given that there is a link to the upcoming Star Wars 40, why is there not one for the issue before it? --Rakhsh (talk) 14:48, August 17, 2017 (UTC)

Hello. When creating new categories, such as Category:Images from Star Wars Adventures (IDW) or Category:Star Wars Adventures lead stories, always make sure you also add proper categories to them. And, regarding the second category I linked, please try to avoid creating categories if there is only one page that goes into them. Thanks, Imperators II 07:05, August 19, 2017 (UTC)

Sorry for absent-mindely editing your talkpage. - AV-6R7 18:34, August 19, 2017 (UTC)

I'm going to ask you to please not remove the Canceled template from the Moviemaking Magic book article. Although Lucasfilm announced the book in that SDCC press release, the fact is that there is no marketplace listing for this book on any of the major online bookselling websites (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-a-Million, to name three) or the Abrams website itself. Maybe you're not familiar with how bookselling works here in the United States, but marketplace websites create product listings for upcoming books 1-2 years in advance. So for a book that was supposed to be coming out before the end of 2017 to have no marketplace listing at all is extremely unusual. That doesn't suggest the book is in development lingo; that's tantamount to the online marketplace telling us that this product simply doesn't exist, or in other words, it's been canceled. The only quasi-marketplace listing I can find for this thing is Book Depository (and I say quasi, because I don't know how reliable or authoritative this website is), which claims this book is coming out in February 2018. But the problem with that is, a) if you do an ISBN search for this product, there are no hits, which means it doesn't exist; and b) again, if something was coming out next February, it would already be available for preorder everywhere, and Abrams would have a product listing for it on its website. The fact that none of which is true means this book is effectively canceled. This is not the same type of situation for which we created {{Unknown development status}}. That template is for something like Star Wars: 1313, where we had ample and undeniable proof that it was a real product in actual development but had been stalled or shelved for some unknown reason. The same cannot be said for this book, where we have ample marketplace evidence showing that this product apparently never existed at all, despite Lucasfilm's press release. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:06, August 28, 2017 (UTC)

I imagine its best to wait until they are officially released, its only a few days away --Lewisr (talk) 18:15, August 29, 2017 (UTC)

Say, Zap, I was wondering, think you could upload the app screenshots for the various details of the Supremacy/Raddus (certainly the one about the Supremacy being in the Unknown Regions, at least)? I think they would act as a useful sourcing tool for those ships, especially when not all of us have access to the app or those droids anyways. I've found two, so I might upload them here, but I was wondering if you could upload the third (and upload the images for the Raddus as well). Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:50, September 1, 2017 (UTC)

This is a mistake by Amazon, one I assume was made because they merely listed the language and didn't bother to note the country (far too frequent when it comes to brazilian books). This being published by Aleph, a brazilian publisher that doesn't even publish in Portugal. I actually believe this cover was essentially leaked by Amazon and they posted the listing too soon, since there's only the Kindle version up in both the american and the brazilian stores and the publisher hasn't posted about the pre-order yet. It's either Two Dots or Desenho Editorial, but neither would post about it until the official announcement. Lele Mj 06:12, September 11, 2017 (UTC)

Maybe there could be another category added? Because, as I understand it, the majority of those who defected from the Empire did either join or assist the Rebellion. SilverSunbird (talk) 20:44, October 1, 2017 (UTC)

I guess that could be something we could add, though I think we should get more opinions before we start anything --Lewisr (talk) 16:59, October 4, 2017 (UTC)

Hey I have no idea what to say haha, is the preview still up on amazon? --Lewisr (talk) 21:09, October 6, 2017 (UTC)

Hi, sorry I didn't noticed your message until now, I see that you based the template in the Tales one, (I always found that template a bit to large) I guess we could change it to the initial template, but I still think its not worth it, especially since its just 2 stories, but If you want you can go ahead and revert it, I don't have a problem with that (honestly at that moment I forgot about the Tales template) and also you can ask another user of what they think about the template and see others' opinions. Have a nice day--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:15, October 14, 2017 (UTC)

Hi Zapik, thanks for uploading a better version of the Tarkin image, I really appreciate it. If you get the chance to do any others, I feel these these two would greatly benefit from the better colouring. Don't worry if you don't have time, it's just I'm awful with images and when I tried to change them it just turned out yellow! Thanks in advance if you can! - Tommy-Macaroni 14:57, October 27, 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Is there a reason why this should be a separate article instead of being covered on the All Terrain Armored Transport page? Cheers, Imperators II 10:06, November 21, 2017 (UTC)

Hi, The tag said that it was about a product that has neither been released nor officially canceled in more than two years, the manga was announced this year, that's why I removed it. The manga is still on development, on December 1st the artist was announced and the manga is scheduled for a 2018 release. I forgot to add the future product tag, but the both mangas are still in development--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:37, December 6, 2017 (UTC)

Hello. I'm sending you this message after coming across the article, which uses Jedi-Bibliothek as the only source for its validation. Up to now, it has been a common practice of yours and other editors to create articles on upcoming books using Jedi-Bibliothek as the reference. The problem is, Jedi-Bibliothek is not an authoritative source. They are a fan site that collates information from other marketplace websites, mostly Amazon. You will see, for example, on their page for this book that the infobox lists a "Nachschlagen auf" field (translated to "Look up") that lists three different Amazon links, where they are presumably taking this information from. That is what you need to use as your reference for creating these articles, not Jedi-Bibliothek itself. The same is true for any referencing used in any article -- Jedi-Bibliothek is not a source of information. I'm placing the {{Verify}} tag on this Solo book article and will do the same from now on for any other article I see created using Jedi-Bibliothek as a source. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:57, January 3, 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I tagged File:PoeDameron-23.jpg, and File:SWForcesOfDestinyAhsokaPadme-NotFinal.jpg with the verify template, since they use as a source JediBibliothek which is not a valid source as said before. You need to look for a more reliable source like IDW, Amazon, Previews among other retailers or a news website that obtained the covers as "exclusives". I think Bibliothek has the link for them so if you change it to a valid source that would be great. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:32, January 12, 2018 (UTC)

I'd say they could probably get their own pages. Some of them exist if I'm not mistaken though, Rescue from Jabba's Palace, AT-AT Attack!, unless it is something completely new and different? --Lewisr (talk) 23:58, January 20, 2018 (UTC)

If you had notice that nobody has looked at category pages in a long time plus the order was by publication date first issues then volumes.--Rgilbert27 (talk) 17:10, January 24, 2018 (UTC)

Hi again I know you like to use Jedi-Bibliothek as a source, but per Attribution policy you need to use an english source if its available. For the IDW April releases there's sources in english that have that information for example Newsarama. I know Bibliothek makes easier to find that type of information, but we need to help reader find a source in their language. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:03, January 24, 2018 (UTC)

Since it doesn't comes from an official medium it can't be considered as a source even if its an Interview on youtube. Anyways I asked the admins on IRC about it and the answer is the same "The policy specifically calls out authorial intent as not being valid" since the author intent is not going through the Story Group--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:17, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Hey, Zapik! Is there a reason you've moved Star Wars Adventures (IDW) Annual 2018? The naming policy says parenthetical descriptors should be avoided, except in cases of conflicting page names. - Cwedin 20:17, February 5, 2018 (UTC)

You can change the file names, in case you didn't see I replied on the other users talk page with an example of how --Lewisr (talk) 19:01, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Hi.

I added in two sections for the newly announced entries to the Epic Collection. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it got the table wonky, so can you fix it up and tell me what I did wrong so I can make sure to avoid it in the future? Weedle McHairybug (talk) 21:29, March 26, 2018 (UTC)

Hello. Please consider this your formal warning regarding the creation of articles and the misapplication of Jedi-Bibiliothek as a reliable source. You have been warned about this no less than three times now over the past year and a half, so I won't repeat what you can already find for yourself on your talk page. Continuation of this will result in a block from editing. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:43, August 27, 2019 (UTC)

Hello, ZapikCZ! I noticed you were the one who added all the voice credits for From a Certain Point of View (audiobook). I wanted to check with you, what was your source(s) for which people did which stories? I've been able to find other sources like StarWars.com and the Penguin Random House site for who overall provided voices, but I haven't found another source for which stories were read by which people. Do you remember where the info came from? Immi Thrax (talk) 06:48, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

Hey Zap, I know you have not edited in nearly a year but you're my best lead, heh. Did Force Arena include small biographies for its characters? You have a workbench keeping info from the game alive so I figure you're the one to ask Editoronthewiki (talk) 02:27, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

Thank you. Sources

RE: Storybook library

I'd say they could probably get their own pages. Some of them exist if I'm not mistaken though, Rescue from Jabba's Palace, AT-AT Attack!, unless it is something completely new and different? --Lewisr (talk) 23:58, January 20, 2018 (UTC)

Re:WYCC

If you had notice that nobody has looked at category pages in a long time plus the order was by publication date first issues then volumes.--Rgilbert27 (talk) 17:10, January 24, 2018 (UTC)

Sources

Hi again I know you like to use Jedi-Bibliothek as a source, but per Attribution policy you need to use an english source if its available. For the IDW April releases there's sources in english that have that information for example Newsarama. I know Bibliothek makes easier to find that type of information, but we need to help reader find a source in their language. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:03, January 24, 2018 (UTC)

RE:Authorial intent

Since it doesn't comes from an official medium it can't be considered as a source even if its an Interview on youtube. Anyways I asked the admins on IRC about it and the answer is the same "The policy specifically calls out authorial intent as not being valid" since the author intent is not going through the Story Group--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:17, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

  • That's a good question, not really sure about that.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:12, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Adventures Annual 2018

Hey, Zapik! Is there a reason you've moved Star Wars Adventures (IDW) Annual 2018? The naming policy says parenthetical descriptors should be avoided, except in cases of conflicting page names. - Cwedin 20:17, February 5, 2018 (UTC)

  • Oh, ok. I hadn't considered template compatibility. Thanks for clearing that up! - Cwedin 20:28, February 5, 2018 (UTC)

File names

You can change the file names, in case you didn't see I replied on the other users talk page with an example of how --Lewisr (talk) 19:01, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Epic Collection fix request.

Warning: Attribution

FACPOV audiobook

Hello, ZapikCZ! I noticed you were the one who added all the voice credits for From a Certain Point of View (audiobook). I wanted to check with you, what was your source(s) for which people did which stories? I've been able to find other sources like StarWars.com and the Penguin Random House site for who overall provided voices, but I haven't found another source for which stories were read by which people. Do you remember where the info came from? Immi Thrax (talk) 06:48, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
