Talk: Cevan

Please do not simply change all of the links in Appearances lists to canon links. The App template has additional parameters, c-fieldname and l-fieldname, that should be used to differentiate the canon and Legends links. Additionally, most of the links in the Appearances list should not be changed to canon links as they are not named in the new canon. Cade Calrayn 23:46, June 28, 2014 (UTC)

Insider fiction starting with issue 150 (and the first part of Blade Squadron) is considered canon, per a message in the actual issue. Please do not continue to remove Blade Squadron content. Thanks. Cade Calrayn 15:45, July 5, 2014 (UTC)

Hey Cevan! Be sure to add a description and source to File:DS Boss.png or else it may be deleted, per the image policy. You can do that by clicking here, clicking the edit button, and then adding the description and source to the relevant fields on the template. Let me know if you have any questions about that. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea 23:01, July 5, 2014 (UTC)

Please stop replacing eras tags with "pagename/Canon". Firstly, you shouldn't be removing the eras tags, period, and secondly, the article will automatically show the tabs if an article exists at "pagename/Canon". The tabs shouldn't be showing if the canon article hasn't been made yet. Cade Calrayn 23:31, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

Hi Cevan. I've tagged the page Valon Rudhor for deletion. It appears, based on your copy/paste from Baron Rudhor, that your goal was to move the content to the correct name. Creating a new page is not the correct way to do that. If the Baron Rudhor page needs to be renamed, please actually rename the page. You can click the Edit drop-down menu and then select the "Move" option. If you're using the Monobook skin, the "Move" button is at the very top of the page. Doing it this way preserves the edit history. However, because you've created Valon Rudhor as its own page, you will need to wait for an administrator to delete Valon Rudhor before Baron Rudhor can be renamed. Thanks. - Brandon Rhea 16:41, September 20, 2014 (UTC)

Cevan, please remember to add the end of the italics to italicized content. You've been leaving Star Wars: Kanan instead of Star Wars: Kanan - without the second , everything after it is italicized. Cade Calrayn 20:59, October 11, 2014 (UTC)

Just a heads up: when adding references to a page, make sure that the page has a Notes and references section with a Reflist template. Otherwise, you get a cite error. IFYLOFD 23:17, November 11, 2014 (UTC)

The article's name is referenced in Spiran Caf due to the fact that it's identified in the trivia gallery but not the episode. Without the reference after the name it is currently cites the episode as the origin of the name (reference 2) which is incorrect. The entire body of an article needs to be referenced correctly including the name in articles this short. Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:16, November 16, 2014 (UTC)

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for Wookieepedian of the Month for December. Please see here. You may want to create at least a small userpage so that people will know something more about you. ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:37, November 30, 2014 (UTC)

Because it looks like the WoTM thing didn't really get off the ground, but I still thought you deserved something, and then I found this. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:31, December 5, 2014 (UTC)

Hi Cevan. Please do not re-add CR90 corvette unless you source the information. As you know, saying what a source is in the edit summary is not enough. If the source is on Facebook, please add the source to the articles using Template:FacebookCite. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea 23:32, December 16, 2014 (UTC)

I saw your message about wanting other people to help with the changing of "Separatist Alliance" back to "Confederacy of Independent Systems/Canon" on the naming/linking. I'm willing to help, and should be able to be back on in about 2 to 3 hours to do so. But could you let me know when you're done with it for the time being so that we don't end up treading on each other's toes, as such? ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:11, January 28, 2015 (UTC)

We are aware of your reasoning for changing the links. Please stop using the same lengthy edit summary for all of the changes; it is clogging the Recent Changes. Cade Calrayn 22:36, January 28, 2015 (UTC)

It is established by Leeland Chee, that the Battle of Yavin took place Nineteen Years after Revenge of the Sith, and Thirty Two Years after The Phantom Menace. --Marcuspearl (talk) 21:40, February 3, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan. What event is this referring to? - Brandon Rhea 20:02, February 8, 2015 (UTC)

I've moved the page to the correct name, which takes over the redirect. If someone clears up the redirects caused by the page move, I'll delete the /Canon page as well. - Sir Cavalier of One 00:47, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cevan. This edit makes two instances in the last few minutes where you haven't respected the fact that I've tagged an article as Inuse. When an article is tagged as Inuse, it's disrespectful to edit because doing so can cause edit conflicts—which it did, in both cases. Please be more cognizant of this in the future. Thanks. - Brandon Rhea 21:29, February 18, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan. Please see my response to Brandon here, and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. CC7567 21:54, February 22, 2015 (UTC)

Hey. Regarding your recent deletion tag on Typho, there is no need to delete a redirect to a Legends article to make way for the Canon article if the Canon article doesn't exist yet. In that case, it's simpler and faster to just edit the redirect and replace it with the new Canon article. Having the old redirect revisions left in the page history doesn't hurt anything. Deletion of a redirect to a Legends article is only needed if the Canon article has already been created under a different title and needs to be moved with the "move" function. Thanks! 21:03, February 24, 2015 (UTC)

As I warned Nilvacantor, consider this your formal warning about image uploading. Special:Upload is the only permitted upload form here, and using the "Add an Image" button in the Oasis skin will result in the image's deletion. Cade Calrayn 22:09, February 24, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan, I noticed you edited and made Appo a canon article. Just a note about it. I'm guessing you copied/pasted information from the CC-1119 legends page and rewrote the body. If you have a look at the categories at the bottom of CC-1119, it is in the "Infoboxes with missing parameters" category, because it is an article with at least one parameter missing from the infobox. As such Appo also had the same issue, which I've corrected. Just letting you know for future reference as I'm trying to get rid of them all so this doesn't happen, and I only noticed because I already got through the A's (but obviously not the C's ). The missing parameter is added (it was skin) and so you can now fill it in (possibly with "fair"?). In future you can use the code on the Template:Character page or via the standard preloads under the edit summary, I'd really appreciate it :) Have a great weekend! Manoof (talk) 07:06, February 27, 2015 (UTC)

Yes, you're correct. As far as i know there is no canon source that refers to the "B-series battle droid". But I just put it there for a complete apps section. (I hate having to go back to add something every time something is given a name in canon. :P) Thanks though! I followed you on Twitter by the way. Nivlacanator (talk) 15:13, February 28, 2015 (UTC)

I already added the Fire thumb to the season one page (I wasn't sure if the episode logo should stay on the episode page or not, so I just didn't add it there to be safe), but to answer your question, StarWars.com has this cropping perimeter in all its image URLs that you just remove to get the full image.

For example, the cropped link to the image is: http://img.lum.dolimg.com/v1/images/image_dae5379e.jpeg?region=195%2C0%2C1171%2C878&width=480

The non cropped is: http://img.lum.dolimg.com/v1/images/image_dae5379e.jpeg

Just remove the ?region... stuff and you're good. :) --Dentface (talk) 23:15, March 3, 2015 (UTC)

You edited Servants of the Empire: Rebel in the Ranks, but I currently have it tagged as Inuse. The edit note indicated that you did it on mobile, so maybe you just missed the tag, but just to let you know, I do have that article down as Inuse right now. I'll be working more on expanded the Appearances and possibly other info a bit later this evening. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:00, March 5, 2015 (UTC)

That's a good idea. I'll take care of it now. Thanks! ProfessorTofty (talk) 03:22, March 5, 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cevan, I noticed you created another page without checking the infobox had everything, could you please fix this and keep it in mind in future? I'd really appreciate it as it's a massive job fixing all the pages. There was 15,000 articles in the Category:Infoboxes with missing parameters page and seeing the number go up can be a bit sad ^^' Anyway, you can see the bottom of Scintel's page that she's in that category. To fix it, just hit "Source" at the bottom of the infobox and see which parameters are missing, adding them to the page. Thanks again! Manoof (talk) 11:48, March 6, 2015 (UTC)

All done. It you clean up the redirects to the /Canon page, I'll delete it as well. - Sir Cavalier of One 00:01, March 9, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Cevan! I was wondering how to do that, thanks for the info. I'm currently focusing on A New Dawn as it's poorly covered on the wiki and needs expanding, so definitely good to know! --CC3636 (talk) 23:08, March 11, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan. We're currently unclear as to the canonicity of Star Wars: Card Trader. For now I'd ask that you stop adding information from that to pages, including (and especially) name changes. We're still figuring out how to treat it, due to the inclusion of Legends information in the app. If you have any thoughts, that'd be great too. Thanks. - Brandon Rhea 20:22, March 13, 2015 (UTC)

Hey. What do you see missing from Depa Billaba that requires this update tag? It already has Fire Across the Galaxy info. - Brandon Rhea 21:53, March 25, 2015 (UTC)

The page you recently added a template to (Angrydroideka10/Droids/3D-4X administrative droid) was supposed to be a subpages of my user page (User:Angrydroideka10)Angrydroideka10 (talk) 00:19, March 27, 2015 (UTC)

Hey. So I don’t leave you hanging, here's why I drew a distinction between the battle at the start of Droids in Distress and the one in the start of Out of Darkness. The former is only 23 seconds of the entire episode, and it's mostly just the Ghost flying away from Imperial forces. We know virtually nothing about it, and the mission is just a way of setting up the plot of the actual conflict of the episode, i.e. the theft of the disruptors. The one in Out of Darkness is also set up, but we know a lot more about it. We know the objective, we know what went wrong, we see several minutes of fighting, and there's plenty to write about. That's why I drew a distinction between the two. - Brandon Rhea 18:04, March 29, 2015 (UTC)

Hello. I'm wondering if you would be able to specify where you see Fang Zar in "The Rise of Clovis" and "Crisis at the Heart." To my knowledge, the character did not appear in those episodes. Screenshots would be preferable so that the exact appearances are verifiable. Thank you. CC7567 18:57, April 3, 2015 (UTC)

On an unrelated note, would you be able to provide a screenshot to show where you see Coburn in "Point of No Return"? I've watched it extensively and haven't seen him in the episode. CC7567 19:09, April 3, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, I just removed those. I put 'em in the wrong place. Sorry! Nivlacanator 00:08, April 20, 2015 (UTC)

I've been seeing this error on and off for the past couple of days, so it's not just you. I think it might be a Wikia-wide glitch. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:10, April 28, 2015 (UTC)

Say, thanks for fixing the redirecting links on the canon page for Jabba's Palace. I was planning to take care of it today, but that saves me some work. ProfessorTofty (talk) 20:29, May 16, 2015 (UTC)

How can you give awards to people? And why are you undoing my edits? The Jabba page had bad grammar.

Can I ask why you're changing the images in users' signatures on talk pages? That MP-Holocron image is meant for the main page, and there's really no difference when it's used in a sig. Cade Calrayn 20:20, May 30, 2015 (UTC)

Do we not use the 1st template if it's their only appearance? (for Star Wars: Uprising characters) 17:24, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

Please take note of the message at the top of my workbench. If anything needs to be changed, even if it's something as small as adjusting a link, then I'd request that you bring it up on the talk page as a courtesy, since I use the page to avoid edit conflicts. Thanks. CC7567 02:02, June 9, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan, how do you keep on discovering these hidden Databank entries? Is there some trick to it? I found a hidden Techno Union page. EDIT: Also, Kaleesh. - AV-6R7 03:04, June 9, 2015 (UTC)

Sure, no problem. I changed the link. ProfessorTofty (talk) 17:26, July 2, 2015 (UTC)

Cevan, according to the Kanan comic, Depa Billaba suffered from sort sort of debilitating whereby she was inactive in he order. When she came out of the coma or force trance, Kanan mentions that she decided to take him Asa learner, rather than numerous other prospects. Of course, this is inferred rather than state, but that does not make it any less valid or sound.

He appears at the 3:19 mark walking alongside a character who appears to be Meena Tills. Both are visible from the side through the Jedi Temple window. CC7567 02:04, July 5, 2015 (UTC)

In regards to your question about the comic strip template, I am hesitant to make any change until someone checks to see which of the pages listed here actually need italics and adds them. If you thoroughly check all of the comic strips on that list and italicize them accordingly, I can remove the italics from the template. As a note, adding the italics around the title should not disrupt anything on the pages.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 23:05, July 6, 2015 (UTC)

Where is it that you're getting digital access to Dark Disciple / Imperial Justice? I pre-ordered for Kindle on Amazon for Dark Disciple, but I don't have access yet. ProfessorTofty (talk) 03:51, July 7, 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for your comments and feedback, they are much appreciated. In truth, it was my first time posting in years and I was quite nervous about editing (compounding the pressure by adding to the mix a tablet that did not want to work). I sincerely apologize for not conforming to the rules and guidelines for editing pages and will do my best to adhere, in the future, to follow the procedure.

Cevan, I would appreciate any advice or help in a matter. I am unsure as to how to edit notes and reference, specifically how to add in a new reference. I've attempted to search for the answer via the Internet, but have not had much luck in answering the question. Any elp would be appreciated and welcomed.

Please see my reply to Shadow Emperor. To add to that, the final canon product is the novel itself, whereas the animatics were what the novel was adapted from—but that doesn't make the animatics canon on their own. It would be akin to treating any earlier iteration of a canon product—i.e. concept art for a canon product—as canon, which isn't prudent. It's fine if the Moregi article uses pictures from the animatics scene in a Bts, but since the animated scene isn't canon, no pictures can be used in the IU part of the article. CC7567 03:02, July 9, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan. Keep in mind that when sourcing information from yet-to-be released material, you need to source where you actually got the information, not the unreleased product. So for example, you can't source anything to Aftermath yet, because Aftermath has yet to be released. You should instead source it to the SW.com excerpt, or any future website that contains an excerpt/information. That way it's verifiable. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea 18:44, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

Recently, I've noticed that you have undone some of my edits regarding alternate names for the Core Worlds. You stated in your summary that the information was unnecessary as it was already known from Tarkin, thus necessitating its removal. However, isn't that the whole point of Wookieepedia, let alone a wiki? To collect, store and present all the alternate names and present the history of a certain subject conveniently located on the page that relates to it so the reader does not have to dig through information that is "already known" to find what he/she is looking for? If the alternate names of the Core Worlds include the Coruscnat Core or simply, "the Core," is it not necessary, nay, required to mention it for accuracy, no matter how "banal" or "commonplace" it may be? Comm. Boots (talk) 20:03, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for clearing some things up for me regarding the links for -class ships, in fact I just noticed that my links seemed to be linking twice for some reason, but was afraid I might "mess up" the article if I attempted to fix them. Also I'm unsure as to why there were so many spaces and "tab keys" used on the page. I suspect that since I write some of my edits on a word processor, when I copy and paste them some sort of auto-formatting feature I was not aware of kicks in. I'll try to catch them in the future. Comm. Boots (talk) 21:08, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan. Please note that your recent creation of "Ray shield fortress" (the canon version) does not adhere to the current notability policy for canon subjects. If a subject is explicitly named in Legends (i.e. Ray Shield Fortress) but not in canon, it cannot receive a canon article. While the policy might need to be revised based on the proliferation of canon subjects, until then, the policy must still be followed in its current form. Thanks. CC7567 19:23, July 20, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan. Since the alpha test is only available to a select group of people and not to the general public, the game—technically speaking—has not been released. I'm waiting to hear back from Wikia whether it's permitted to add information from the game's alpha testing to the site, so I'll let you know once they respond. Until then, please refrain from adding any alpha test info to the site. CC7567 20:50, July 22, 2015‎ (UTC)

Currently, there isn't decisive consensus on whether lightsabers deserve their own articles, even if they are directly mentioned in source material. In my opinion at least, it depends more on whether the weapon receives notable usage, so I personally don't think that Nema's lightsaber deserves an article. You're welcome to look through the trash compactor archive to see recent discussions on the topic.

On an unrelated note, as Cade has already told you, please do not edit other users' pages or subpages without their express permission. My workbench page was one of the articles that you edited in your last round of changing the "year" links, even though I've asked you in the past not to edit it. On Special:WhatLinksHere, no matter which skin you're using, there's an option to specify a namespace (e.g. "(Main)" to avoid any articles in the "User" namespace), so not noticing the namespace of any page you're editing is no excuse. In any case, I'd recommend heeding Cade's suggestion to request a bot to change redirect links instead of doing it yourself, since it saves time and effort. CC7567 21:10, July 24, 2015 (UTC)

OK! Thank you!

I need another vector image made, this time of the symbols worn on the sleeves of the Frangawl Cult members in "The Disappeared, Part I" and "The Disappeared, Part II". Thanks! - AV-6R7 20:00, August 23, 2015 (UTC)

I just want to thank you for monitoring the Star Wars: Uprising page (and also apologize for making you clean up some of my mess). I really appreciate what you're doing there. 22:01, September 3, 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cevan. I removed the mention of Sheev from the Kyber crystal page as I vaguely remembered from some source that "Sheev" was only known by Tarkin and Vader as a symbol of how close they were with Sidious. Although looking back now I can't seem to find it in the novel. Either way, I suppose a minor triviality such as this shouldn't matter too much, as either way the name links to the same person. Comm. Boots (talk) 12:59, September 5, 2015 (UTC)

Does crix madine make an appearance in Aftermath as a New Republic operative since you were the one that change his infobox from Rebel to New Republic. Jkirk8907 (talk) 18:40, September 6, 2015 (UTC)

I just made an edit to the Aftermath page, [|this one] which for some reason is listed as an edit you made. I don't think it's really important but thought I'd let you know anyway. Overlordjeff (talk) 18:39, September 13, 2015 (UTC)

Dude, stop. If you don't have 100% certainty that a move was correct, why on earth would you go and start fixing redirects for it? Please wait for verification, and don't do this kind of thing again. Cade Calrayn 19:33, September 13, 2015 (UTC)

Mh... The ability is described in Ultimate Sticker Collection: Star Wars Rebels: Secrets of the Rebels, where it says "Ezra does this with a fierce and dangerous fyrnock." Please see the talk page.--Exiled Jedi (talk) 00:37, September 29, 2015 (UTC)

Ah! Thank-you Cevan for pointing that out! I would never have noticed it otherwise.

Oh, and by the way, I've been thinking about the whole Imperial I-class Star Destroyer thing, and while I previously thought it would be better to leave the Imperial-class Star Destroyers in their current categorization, it occurred to me that the current Imperial-class page is actually the name of a product line, and not an actual starship (Similar to the TIE fighter series). Thus, it would appear that the Imperial-class name is merely an alternate name for the I-class ship. (Or in other words, it is a Star Destroyer, and the Imperial-class Star Destroyer is a categorization that the Empire used, in which the only ship under that categorization is the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer. Comm. Boots (talk) 23:31, October 6, 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cevan, hope you're doing well!I see that Brandon placed Dark Disciple first, but that novel and Servants #4 are literally the only items sorted that way. I know that Brandon's decisions are often the ultimate deciding force, but I'm not sure that applies in this case. The timeline should be uniform, and it currently isn't. Let me know what you think!Regards,Cwedin (talk) 01:04, October 12, 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cevan. I was just wondering if you could provide me with the article regarding the addition of audio files to Wookieepedia so I don't mess up the format or miss some policy. I can't seem to find it on my own, and that little button that says "Contribute" doesn't have a link for an audio file. Thanks. - Comm. Boots (talk) 20:53, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Hi Cevan, I've just made a change to the timeline of canon media (I moved The Secret Academy to after the final 3 episodes of Rebels Season 1, as it finishes after them), and realised when looking through the edit log that in the past you've been against such changes before, so I thought it made sense to actually discuss it. As far as I can see (and I believe makes the timeline more useful as someone currently playing/watching/reading my way though the Star Wars chronology), the timeline tends to place items in order of when they finish as opposed to when they start, which is why I moved TSA. Lost Stars is a good example - it starts way before the Original Trilogy but finishes after it, and as such is placed after. I'm sure you'll agree that it would make no sense for someone to read it before watching a New Hope! Anyway, why is it that you think the Secret Academy should be placed before the end of Rebels Season 1, when it starts, but Lost Stars should be placed after Return of the Jedi, when it ends? --Mythicia77 (talk) 15:14, October 23, 2015 (UTC) :)

Thanks for the heads up Cevan and fix the WED-15 issue. I've been checking most of the linking on AEYNTK but I obviously didn't look closely enough at that one. I'll check more carefully in future. Ayrehead02 (talk) 15:54, October 28, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan, just a heads up that you should strike your objections before supporting a nomination. Your objection hasn't been struck here. Please also make sure you update the vote count. Thanks, Supreme Emperor (talk) 03:16, October 30, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan, I notice you've been changing all of the Princess Leia pages to say the Dreed's Star Destroyer is an Imperial-I class based on me including it in Tula, but I only added that because the ship's page itself said that at the time, or at least I thought it did. Looking through the identification guides now, it seems to lack the engine flaps that distinguish a Imp I so I'm going to change all the pages back to simply Imperial-class, as Imperial-II class SDs haven't been properly described in new canon as far as I can find. Ayrehead02 (talk) 22:32, November 1, 2015 (UTC)

Double checking the source, I can't find any mention of them being twins. I've removed it from Dreed's page. Ayrehead02 (talk) 23:48, November 4, 2015 (UTC)

Wow! Geez, thanks Cevan! I never even knew there was such a thing. I can't express how much this means to me. I thought that my edits were squashed underneath a sea of others. Thanks for proving me wrong! - Comm. Boots (talk) 21:44, November 8, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan, is there a specific reason why you need to include every single category for a planet, weapon, or starship? I.e: here]. Normally it's fine to link to the actual appearance of a planet, like Tatooine, as a random example, but listing everything, like Tatoo system, seems like an overkill. Of course, unless the Tatoo system actually made an appearance, you shouldn't include it. Does that make sense? You're just adding unrelated information. JangFett 05:25, November 10, 2015 (UTC)

Hey. I'm just asking you because you're the last person who made an edit, as of typing this. Just wondering, why can't I upload a profile pic right now? I've had accounts on wiki's before, but never wookie. Is there a restriction or something? Or am I just stupid. --JediKnightZoobles (talk) 00:51, December 1, 2015 (UTC)

That's literally the first thing I tired. Like I'm not braindead. It wasn't there/working. That's why I asked. Just went to a random wiki, and changed it there though. Um, thanks anyways. I think. --JediKnightZoobles (talk) 03:45, December 1, 2015 (UTC)

Hello Cevan. Sorry to disturb you, but I want to ask you how can I make a canon counterpart on a legend page. To make an example the page Taylander shuttle is still only in Legend althought it was seen in almost five espidodes in Clone Wars and Rebels. I shall await your answer. Sincerly, --Cloneablestar (talk) 23:20, December 13, 2015 (UTC)

Please don't tag them for deletion; we've been asked to keep them intact for the time being for SEO purposes. Cade Calrayn 04:24, December 15, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Cevan. Considering it could be awhile until we get good images from The Force Awakens, let's avoid adding Image to TFA-related pages. It's an ugly user experience and there's not much we can do in the way of images right now. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea 22:12, December 18, 2015 (UTC)

Hello Cevan, I saw you've done some work on Huulik's page in the past. I tidied up the article recently if you're interested in nominating in anytime soon.

Yes, I realized that immediately after I reverted your change. Weird... --LelalMekha (talk) 18:54, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Hello. I've undone your delete tag on Droid factory/Canon because it doesn't really qualify for speedy deletion. Please TC it if you feel like it shouldn't have an article. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 22:08, January 24, 2016 (UTC)

Congratulations, you've been elected Wookieepedian of the Month for February 2016! 1358 (Talk) 00:21, February 1, 2016 (UTC)

Hello there, Cevan! I was wondering whether you were playing Star Wars: Uprising too? --LelalMekha (talk) 22:11, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

Hey guys, I just wanted to point out that I have added a small list of online sources that contain lore, if you want to use them. There's also this Youtube guy who's done a playthrough from lvl 1 to 22, and this one, who has missions from lvl 70 on and also the Force missions. --LelalMekha (talk) 16:40, February 6, 2016 (UTC)

No need to apologize, my friend. After all, it's something we all do in our spare time, so there are no obligations whatsoever. Sorry to hear that you can't play anymore, though. That being said, yes, you still have the option to use Youtube playthrough vids of the early missions. That can still be very valuable, because articles such as Riley, Dapp, Shortpaw, Nogba Quush and of course The Smuggler would greatly benefit from better and more comprehensive writing. :-) --LelalMekha (talk) 00:13, February 18, 2016 (UTC)

Hello again, guys! Just wanted to let you know that there's a poster on the Jedi Council Forums who has started writing down the story (mission instructions and all dialogues) of Uprising. Here's the last update in the thread! --LelalMekha (talk) 15:25, February 27, 2016 (UTC)

I found you moved Vulture's Claw but haven't created the article's canon tab? --Alientraveller (talk) 18:24, February 6, 2016 (UTC)

Cevan, I noticed you that you added on the page for Romodi his appearance in A New Hope. However, I think you may be extrapolating here. Do we really have any evidence in canon that the Romodi mentioned in Servants of the Empire is the same guy we saw in A New Hope? ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:49, February 7, 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I would like to update the New Republic emblem to be depicted as in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens Visual Dictionary". I have the .svg avaliable (http://cl.ly/253b0y2V2e0G) but I am not able to upload it to the Wookieepedia. Could you update it?

Hey. I'm curious, what makes you say this? As I recall, the line in Princess Leia about her title was just in reference to being a member of the Imperial Senate. - Brandon Rhea 00:26, April 8, 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I've been looking for somebody to look over the Zare Leonis article and I see you've made some minor edits to it and the past and are also a member of WookieeProject Rebels. Basically, I'm looking for somebody who hasn't been too involved with the article to have a look over it. You'd basically be looking through for anything that could be worded better, anything that seems like it's missing or unclear, etc. Andykatib and I wrote most of the article, but I have a bit of a blind spot sometimes when it comes to proofreading my own work, so I think it would be helpful to have somebody else have a look over it. I'm sorry for the delay in getting the new info added. I usually read the books as ebooks from my library, and the library hasn't bought the Life Debt ebook yet. I'm almost certain they will, but they usually wait until a couple of weeks after the release. I've been checking every day, and as soon as they get it I'll add the info immediately. Again, I'm really sorry. In the future I won't nominate articles for GA status when a sequel to the source book is coming. How much time do I have until the article is un-good-ified? --Geek'ari Talk 01:08, July 26, 2016 (UTC)

Dear Cevan,

My apologies for troubling you. I just wanted to discuss the matter of you listing three articles—the Mission to Pamarthe, the Mission to Daxam IV, and the Mission to Ryloth (New Republic)|Mission to Ryloth—as candidates for speedy deletion. I have read Claudia Gray's novel Bloodline and the book doesn't officially name these missions. However, it still indicates that they were missions linked to Leia Organa and Ransolm Casterfo's investigations into Rinnrivin Di's cartel and the Amaxine warriors.

Let me argue why they should exist as articles. First, the Pamarthe mission was undertaken by Greer Sonnel and Joph Seastriker on behalf of Leia. It was an undercover spying mission where not blaster bolts were exchanged. Secondly, the Daxam IV mission was a mission by Casterfo and Greer to gather intelligence on the Amaxine warriors. The business of buying an Emperor's Royal Guard helmet was a ruse by Casterfo to gain Arliz Hadrassian's trust and get her to disclose intelligence on the Amaxine operations. Thirdly, the Ryloth mission was a diplomatic research-finding mission undertaken by Leia and her staff. They didn't find a lot in the Ryloth archives but discovered that Rinnrivin had spy satellites above Ryloth. Basically, the Daxam IV and Ryloth missions link to the Mission to Sibensko later in the book. I can understand your reasoning for deleting them because no conflict took place. But, the same can be said about a lot of real-world spying and diplomatic missions. No shots were exchanged by work still got done.

If they do decide to delete those articles, I would be happy to accept a compromise. Having the Amaxine warrior crisis article talk about those threes missions while keeping the Mission to Bastatha and the Mission to Sibensko articles. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you very much for your time. Best regards. Andykatib 05:18, September 3, 2016 (UTC)

Sure thing. I'll take a look and see what I can do. Brules 22:12, September 16, 2016 (UTC)

Hey there So just to get it straight, while Moregi himself is canon and the Dark Disciple novel is transcribed from these animatic episodes, meaning that's how he looks, the Story parts of the articles can't contain any images from these animatic clips? --Tetsu Aero (talk) 18:49, September 19, 2016 (UTC)

Hey Cevan, thanks for checking the article's word count. I'm aware that the article has crossed the 1,000 word limit, but I'm waiting to nominate the article for FA status until after the current season of Rebels. The upcoming episodes have more information about the Mandalorians' current state of affairs, so until they air, the article won't be able to meet FAN Rule 6. Thanks. Hey Cevan, I see you added a confirm template to the Erso family page, there is nothing in the story of Catalyst that calls them the Erso family however in the book in the section at the front titled 'About the book' it makes mention of Erso family which is in the official description on the Catalyst page, would that be enough to confirm it? Or if not then I guess the family name would be conjectural or the page deleted all together --Lewisr (talk) 22:42, November 22, 2016 (UTC)

You've got some interesting points, I must admit. Oddly enough, your principles aren't that widespread throughout the Wookieepedia. There have been reports of brief allegiances in the Death Watch and Vizsla systems. Elsewhere, another plot of false loyalties revolves around Ezra's and Sabine's enlistments in Lothal and Skystrike Academy respectively. --Goblin King - 3000 B.C., Keeper of Evil Squirrels 21:01, November 24, 2016 (UTC)

Hi Cevan. After editing a few articles I realized that the question of whether or not Nexus of Power is considered canon was never fully settled. I'm seeing numerous articles that blend info from NoP and am unsure if I should remove it or not. I've also heard that there was a CT or discussion of some sort where it was decided that some info from TCW and Rebels could be considered canon, while others wouldn't. Not sure if I'm missing something. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Commander Boots 22:18, January 15, 2017 (UTC)

Hey Cevan! Just wanted to remind you to always check when tagging pages for deletion if there are any links still pointing to the page that need to be fixed. I had originally thought it would be classified under such since it was a droid commanded by Dooku. Akin to how 0-0-0 and BT-1 have Sith affiliation since they were commanded by Darth Vader. Does this mean that the Magna Guard (Dooku commanded 2 during Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir comics), the B2 super battle droid (Dooku had 2 while fighting Anakin and Obiwan in Episode III), and the commando droids (they guarded Dooku's throne room in TCW Massacre episode) all need have their Sith affiliation removed? Hey. You said this in an edit summary:

That's not necessarily true. Mon Mothma still preferred to be called Senator even after she left the Senate, and we can hear Captain Antilles call Bail "Senator" in Rogue One despite Leia having already taken over. So the fact that Bail was still called senator in Zero Hour doesn't inherently mean that Leia is not already the senator. - Brandon Rhea 00:14, July 11, 2017 (UTC)

Hey, , due to CC’s indefinite absence, I’ve been given the green-light to take over WP:TCW as Project Leader. As Project Leader, I’m committed to this supervisor role that oversees the maintenance and expansion of all things relating to TCW.

As a participant of the project, I would like for you to take the moment to consider your current status. Any inactive or otherwise uncommitted member, for whatever reason, is subject to removal from the participant list, as noted by CC.

If you’re unsure or not committed, please reply to this message on my talk page or kindly remove your name from the list. Mind you, there’s no hard feelings—you are most welcome to rejoin anytime. As the largest WookieeProject in terms of status articles and participants, and because of TCW’s ongoing popularity, we could use the help. :P

Eras

Please stop replacing eras tags with "pagename/Canon". Firstly, you shouldn't be removing the eras tags, period, and secondly, the article will automatically show the tabs if an article exists at "pagename/Canon". The tabs shouldn't be showing if the canon article hasn't been made yet. Cade Calrayn 23:31, July 6, 2014 (UTC)

Valon Rudhor

 • Alright then, thank you. Cevan () 16:46, September 20, 2014 (UTC)

Italics

Cevan, please remember to add the end of the italics to italicized content. You've been leaving Star Wars: Kanan instead of Star Wars: Kanan - without the second , everything after it is italicized. Cade Calrayn 20:59, October 11, 2014 (UTC)

 • Similarly, please use instead of just L. Thank you. CadeCalrayn 19:35, October 12, 2014 (UTC)

Spiran Caf

The article's name is referenced in Spiran Caf due to the fact that it's identified in the trivia gallery but not the episode. Canon articles and redirects to Legends articles

Uploading

As I warned Nilvacantor, consider this your formal warning about image uploading. Special:Upload is the only permitted upload form here, and using the "Add an Image" button in the Oasis skin will result in the image's deletion. Cade Calrayn 22:09, February 24, 2015 (UTC)

 • My apologies; I used "Add an Image" and was going to put in the description right after I submitted the page. I have reuploaded the image and put the description in now, though. Cevan () 22:12, February 24, 2015 (UTC)

Infoboxes (Appo)

B-series/Canon

Yes, you're correct. As far as i know there is no canon source that refers to the "B-series battle droid". But I just put it there for a complete apps section. (I hate having to go back to add something every time something is given a name in canon. :P) Thanks though! I followed you on Twitter by the way. Nivlacanator (talk) 15:13, February 28, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Rebels Thumbs

Inuse again

You edited Servants of the Empire: Rebel in the Ranks, but I currently have it tagged as Inuse. The edit note indicated that you did it on mobile, so maybe you just missed the tag, but just to let you know, I do have that article down as Inuse right now. I'll be working more on expanded the Appearances and possibly other info a bit later this evening. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:00, March 5, 2015 (UTC)

 • Sorry Tofty; I was on mobile at the time so the Inuse tag didn't show up. I hope I didn't mess up any of your planned edits. My apologies once again. Cevan () 00:02, March 5, 2015 (UTC)

Infoboxes (Miraj Scintel/Canon)

 • No worries, thanks for taking the time to reply and to fix them :D Manoof (talk) 09:20, March 13, 2015 (UTC)

Card Trader

Depa Billaba/Canon

Hey. What do you see missing from Depa Billaba that requires this update tag? It already has Fire Across the Galaxy info. - Brandon Rhea 21:53, March 25, 2015 (UTC)

 • My apologies; didn't see that the details of her telling Kanan to run had already been added. I was mainly referring, however, to the Inqusitor's interrogation of Kanan in which he recounts Billaba's death and final words. Since at the end of the legacy section there is information from Rise of the Old Masters in which the Inquisitor recognized Kanan's dueling style, I thought we might also add a mention of the Inquisitor's interrogation about Billaba and how Kanan left her. The two Ghost missions

Fang Zar in Season Six

Celebration poster

 • We've always used pictures like that, before the whole Canon/Legends schism. Take that one, for example. As long as it's not "obviously" non-canon, there's no reason to count it out. What I mean is: if you object to this TK-421 pic in particular, you'll have to object to many other pics—and if you want to do that, I advise you to put on a Consensus Track. And to be perfectly clear: I won't mind if you get rid of this lovely picture. I'm used to being forced to use a ridiculously tiny set of "new canon" sources, with very few gorgeous illustrations. I don't really care anymore, and the whole "canon/non canon" parlor game has become ludicrous. You may have the pic deleted if you like. --LelalMekha (talk) 18:23, May 10, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Comic strip template

In regards to your question about the comic strip template, I am hesitant to make any change until someone checks to see which of the pages listed here actually need italics and adds them. If you thoroughly check all of the comic strips on that list and italicize them accordingly, I can remove the italics from the template. As a note, adding the italics around the title should not disrupt anything on the pages.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 23:05, July 6, 2015 (UTC)

Re: TCW Story Reels

Please see my reply to Shadow Emperor. To add to that, the final canon product is the novel itself, whereas the animatics were what the novel was adapted from—but that doesn't make the animatics canon on their own. It would be akin to treating any earlier iteration of a canon product—i.e. concept art for a canon product—as canon, which isn't prudent. It's fine if the Moregi article uses pictures from the animatics scene in a Bts, but since the animated scene isn't canon, no pictures can be used in the IU part of the article. CC7567 03:02, July 9, 2015 (UTC)

Sourcing unreleased material

 • I think it's worth including the Battle of Endor since the riot is a direct response to it. - Brandon Rhea 19:20, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

Core Worlds names

 • Sure, I'd be glad to provide references for the names used. Firstly, the Coruscant Core was recently used in the Aftermath teaser posted on Star Wars.com that everyone is very excited over, being mentioned in Admiral Ackbar's speech in the beginning of the preview. While the simple name of, "the Core," is used so widely in almost any source that it seems almost counter-intuitive to specify one source where it comes from. Although if I do remember correctly I believe it was used a ton in Heir to the Jedi by Kevin Hearne. Also, I do wish to apologize if I have somehow offended you with my previous comment, as I did not wish to sound accusatory of condescending, and I did not mean to suggest that you have undone some of my edits before this recent one. The past tense I used is merely a side-effect from too many hours of writing on Wookieepedia. Comm. Boots (talk) 20:26, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

Lists

Thanks for clearing some things up for me regarding the links for -class ships, in fact I just noticed that my links seemed to be linking twice for some reason, but was afraid I might "mess up" the article if I attempted to fix them. Also I'm unsure as to why there were so many spaces and "tab keys" used on the page. I suspect that since I write some of my edits on a word processor, when I copy and paste them some sort of auto-formatting feature I was not aware of kicks in. I'll try to catch them in the future. Comm. Boots (talk) 21:08, July 17, 2015 (UTC)

Canon notability policy

 • The policy only applies to subjects that are officially identified in Legends, but not in canon. Dooku's palace was not identified in Legends or canon until Dark Disciple provided it with a canon name, so both articles adhere to the notability policy. If a subject has a conjectural title in Legends, it can receive a canon article—it's only when the Legends name is official that it cannot receive a canon article. Hope that helps. CC7567 19:49, July 20, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Star Wars: Uprising alpha appearances

 • Apologies for the very belated response on this. Wikia has stated that it's acceptable to add info from the game to the site. CC7567 00:10, August 16, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Rig Nema's lightsaber

Timeline

 • Thanks for the response! In your message you said that the beginning-date method is already being practiced on the page, but I don't see any places other than Disciple and Servants #4 where this is true; every other title that spans multiple years is placed where it ends. And as for the placement of A New Dawn, I agree with your reasoning: it's there because the prologue "doesn't count," so to speak. This also applies to epilogues, such as in Moving Target. As far as my position on which method is to be used, I prefer the end-date method because it's "less spoilery." For example, if I were going through the items chronologically, I'd rather watch the original trilogy before reading Lost Stars. However, a counterargument to this would be the Legends timeline, which does implement the beginning-date method. Hopefully this'll all get sorted out soon. Audio file

Timeline Order

 • Could we please have that discussion on the talk page of the Timeline of canon media article? Because the way the items are listed there affects how they should appear in the Appearances section in the individual articles, and so any changes regarding that affects that as well, as well as at other pages like Timeline of canon books, etc. I'd like to see it hashed out once and for all so that we can get it right across all pages instead of it keep being changed over and over. I went ahead and added all the Appearances for The Secret Academy because it seemed like it had finally stabilized, but now here we are again. ProfessorTofty (talk) 15:41, October 23, 2015 (UTC)

Dreed's Star Destroyer

Hey Cevan, I notice you've been changing all of the Princess Leia pages to say the Dreed's Star Destroyer is an Imperial-I class based on me including it in Tula, but I only added that because the ship's page itself said that at the time, or at least I thought it did. Looking through the identification guides now, it seems to lack the engine flaps that distinguish a Imp I so I'm going to change all the pages back to simply Imperial-class, as Imperial-II class SDs haven't been properly described in new canon as far as I can find. Taylander shuttle

Hello Cevan. Sorry to disturb you, but I want to ask you how can I make a canon counterpart on a legend page. To make an example the page Taylander shuttle is still only in Legend althought it was seen in almost five espidodes in Clone Wars and Rebels. I shall await your answer. • Hey Cevan, sorry for reverting your edit on Before the Awakening, when I saved my edit I encountered an error I've been getting recently where I somehow conflict with my own edit. Star Wars: Uprising

Hello there, Cevan! I was wondering whether you were playing Star Wars: Uprising too? --LelalMekha (talk) 22:11, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

 • I asked you this question because I'm desperately trying to find other active editors who play the game. It's getting very difficult to keep up with the ever-expanding lore of the game, and I think it's high time we mount an "Uprising Project." If no one's interested, however, it's gonna be difficult. :-p Truly, I think the lore from that game shouldn't be neglected. Now that TFA is out, I shall focus on Uprising, but it's just too much for a lone editor. --LelalMekha (talk) 22:22, February 3, 2016 (UTC)

Chancellor

Hey. I'm curious, what makes you say this? As I recall, the line in Princess Leia about her title was just in reference to being a member of the Imperial Senate. - Brandon Rhea 00:26, April 8, 2016 (UTC)

 • Possibly. "Role" could very well refer to being leader/chancellor of the Alliance. But on the other hand, since one of the stated goals of the Alliance post-Endor was the restoration of the Senate, you could very well be right. So yeah, I agree with your decision to remove it so we can wait and see. - Brandon Rhea 00:41, April 8, 2016 (UTC)

Conflicts from Bloodline novel

 • Hi Cevan, thanks for your advice. Will certainly take the matter up with an administrator. Cheers. Andykatib 20:08, September 3, 2016 (UTC)

Hello Cevan. Since the Amazon template now supports adding a backup link, could you please do just that for your Xephi Sep, Xephi Sep Award, Q2-B3KO, Veraslayn Kast and Nightsister crystal ball articles? Cheers, Imperators II 05:55, April 29, 2017 (UTC)

IRC

Hey Cevan, long time no see. If you have a moment, could you pop by the IRC? Thanks, Supreme Emperor (talk) 04:29, May 6, 2017 (UTC)

Re: IRC

Hey Cevan, sorry I missed you. I'm on right now, and will be on tomorrow night as well for sure. I'll try to pop on during the day as well. Thanks, Supreme Emperor (talk) 02:47, May 7, 2017 (UTC)

 • Sorry I missed you, I'll leave IRC on all day tomorrow. If you have a sec to pop on just ping me and I should see it. Thanks. Supreme Emperor (talk) 04:26, May 19, 2017 (UTC)

Bounty of Trouble

RE: Star Wars Character Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded R5 unit question

Hi Cevan, looking at my copy it seems that the info is from the page focused on R5-D4 and not one on R5s in general. Nothing directly says that these things apply to other R5 units, although the line being manufactured by Industrial Automaton can be inferred. Ayrehead02 (talk) 14:46, July 21, 2017 (UTC)

Re:Last Pollus Maksim objection

Hey, Cevan! No problem, and I hope the hurricane doesn't impact you negatively in any way. I hope you'll manage to get the Latrans and PZ-7 objections in time. Imperators II 14:36, September 7, 2017 (UTC)

WP:TCW

Thanks, JangFett 15:32, January 11, 2018 (UTC)

Do you have all of the crew run names and descriptions saved from Star Wars: Uprising? Bsmith7174 (talk) 16:19, February 28, 2018 (UTC)
