The name's Commander Checkoff, the new boss of this page. I've been a fan of star wars for the past 15 years. At the moment i'm a big fan of it, particularly the clone wars. I'm also a fan of other Sci-fi work such Star Trek. Also i'm Indiana jones fan too. I sometimes write star wars stories about jedi, clones and other things about star wars. CC-1990, nicknamed "Checkoff", was a Clone trooper commander during the Clone Wars. Chekoff began his life as one of countless cloned officers slated for a leadership position in the Grand Army of the Republic. Early on in his career, he showed a flair for independent thought that often drew the always-prying eyes of the Kaminoans. The Kaminoans selected him for special training, that is where he met officers such Cody, Rex, and others. Checkoff excelled at following procedure, hence his nickname. Checkoff however was not against using unorthodox tactics in defeating his enemies. Checkoff was also able to adapt to using fighter tanks and star fighters.
Checkoff fought at the First Battle of Geonosis. Checkoff later fought at the Battle of Thule, where he commanded a Fighter Tank Battalion know as the Nexu Battalion. Afterwards, Checkoff was temporarily pulled from the fighting in order to be entered into an experimental training regiment, headed by ARC trooper Alpha-17, designed to provoke independent thought among the enrolled commanders. After his training was complete, Checkoff was given command of the 357th battalion which also included his Nexu fighter tank battalion. He was assigned to serve under the Gungan Jedi General Jar Sparoo. Together they fought alongside the Clone troopers of the 357th Battalion. After the Skirmish on Naboo, Checkoff and Sparoo were then station on the moon of Ohma-D'un to establish a outpost/warning station to protect naboo from further Separatist attempts.
