I was born only about half a year before Return of the Jedi first came out, so I'm not really sure when I first "got into" Star Wars. Suffice it to say, though, I've been a fan for quite a while, both of the movies, television works and material from the Expanded Universe. That said, I have no issues with Disney and I understand why they did what they did in regards to the Expanded Universe-- in light of their upcoming plans for the films and Rebels, keeping the Expanded Universe as canon just doesn't make sense and the new system will finally provide an opportunity to have a more properly unified canon, given all of the messy contradictions that had cropped up over the years with all of the stuff out there. I'm already excited about some of the decisions that have been made, such as having James Luceno write a Tarkin novel and hiring esteemed children's authors like Tony DiTerlizzi and R.J. Palacio to write Young Reader's editions of stories from the original trilogy.

You'll probably notice me working a lot on canon articles, though I do read/watch past "Legends" material and may edit those articles from time-to-time. You may also see me doing maintenance work such as proofreading, formatting, or taking care of categorization or fixing templates, largely as part of some of the massive work that has to be done when it comes to updating the wiki to reflect Canon/Legends. I also regularly keep an eye out for upcoming releases such as Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Read-Along Storybook and CD and have been adding info on these as it becomes available.

Wookieepedia is the only wiki I'm currently very active on, but I am an inactive admin for a number of wikis, most notably the Harry Potter Wiki. I've also contributed heavily to the Memory Alpha (Star Trek) wiki in the past and I pretty much built the wiki for Eternal Sonata from the ground-up.
