Hi... an abridged "young readers edition" of the Star Wars: From the Adventures of Luke Skywalker was published at the same time as the original novel.

In the UK (Sphere Books), the original paperback had a cover with a white background, and the Young Readers edition had a red background. I searched on the internet and found this reference:

www.librarything.com/work/1023135/editions/

Here's an image of the UK cover:

theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=871

Might be nice to add this the the novelisation entry.

Hi, by questionable I meant - is it anywhere written, Han Solo actualy saw or even know about Centerpoint before A New Hope? If not, I'm not surprised he reacts that way when first seeing Death Star I. So, it's still POV unless is canonized in some source, he had previous knowledge. Cheers. Btw read Centerpoint Station talk page under Continuity Headache - somebody already explain very same situation there.--Jedi Marty 11:53, February 25, 2012 (UTC)

Hiya Asithol, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I was away on holiday and without internet access so was unable to see any edits on my talk page. To answer your question, I believe I was attempting to cite the Databank Hutt article when it existed at the time. I think I tried copying the citation from another page but I think I failed in that goal :( But anyway, I'm pretty sure I was using the Databank at the time. Darth Batrus 19:03, March 15, 2012 (UTC)

We've never seen a need to create a page for it. Allowing the restarting topics months or years after they've ended can make navigating the page by looking at dates tricky and, even more importantly, it makes archiving pages a true hassle. Just don't do it, please. You're more than welcome to start new threads on whatever you want that follow {{Talkheader}}, but don't post in dead threads. NaruHina 19:26, August 6, 2012 (UTC)

Hello, Asithol! To be frank ("I must be Frank, Your Majesty."), I didn't even remember adding that to the article. I did check Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel just a minute ago, and it seems my interpretation was clearly in error. Thanks for pointing that out! Feel free to correct the article. :) --LelalMekha (talk) 08:47, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

Hello Asithol, the comment is there to illustrate the confusion between the two characters. It is also there through a process of elimination of human female expanded universe characters that have been identified as being present in Jabba's throne room during that specific event. Jess, Mara Jade Skywalker & Laudica have all been accounted for whereas Melina Carniss has not.

Also can you please direct me to the policy where short story and song titles are mandated as being in italics and why that should exclude music videos? Bo Shuda (talk) 09:05, December 15, 2013 (UTC)

I reverted your edit because that sentence serves a purpose—I was trying to give context to the other sources mentioned in the article. Personally, that's something I've done in my articles for a long time. It's not intended to give any information on the sources themselves, but how the character relates to the sources. The BtS mention is meant to tell the reader that Dominus receives just a mention in those sources, or an entry in the CSWE, which directly relates to the character and I think is worthy of being in the BtS. IFYLOFD 02:07, December 20, 2013 (UTC)

Hey Asithol. In response to your inquiry, the decision of whether a non-fanon/vandalism article gets deleted is not strictly limited to community voting; any article that clearly violates any of the site's policies is subject to deletion by a member of the administration. Specifically for your "errata" article, it was in violation of WP:TRIVIA—list articles, of in-universe or real world information, are generally discouraged; they do exist, but they are considered more as exceptions than as a general rule. Any errors in OOU media can be listed on the corresponding article on the product, though whether an error is too trivial to merit mentioning is definitely up for debate. If you disagree, you're welcome to start a Senate Hall thread about it—that's just my two cents. Hope that helps. CC7567 02:06, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

In the future, please do not try to move an article by copying the contents of one page to another. The proper way to move a page is to use the move function, which can be found as a small tab at the top of the page in Monobook, and as the third tab in the edit drop-down for the Wikia skin. If the function will not allow you to move the page, an administrator would have to handle moving the page. The reason that pages need to be moved in this fashion is to preserve the edit history of the original page, which would be easily lost if the text was simply copied from the original article to the new page.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 15:27, November 17, 2014 (UTC)

Centerpoint Station

Hi, by questionable I meant - is it anywhere written, Han Solo actualy saw or even know about Centerpoint before A New Hope? • Thank you for your reply. Well, I was giving some thoughts about what you wrote to me and I partly agree with you. However going back through Han's biography and what I remember novels I read about him, first you learned a lot about Centerpoint was during Corellian Crisis in 18 ABY. Although it was there centuries before it has "no particular meaning" and frankly I don't think people from Corellian system even care (why should Han?) about purpose or in this case size. With a bit of stretch I could compare that to planet repulsors hidden and discovered during same crisis. Han wasn't archaelogist, you know to go after wonders of galaxy, although it was in his home system :). And it's nowhere stated (like you said) he knew about existence of Centerpoint before seeing Death Star I for the first time. It's really questionable when he learns about it's existence (surely before 18 ABY). That's why I point to NPOV. So we can only speculate and debate or like you said going thru logical conclusion based on canon. Where is that borderline between those two? Btw I noticed logical conclusion vs speculation and assumption is many times source of disputes here among users. But I'm glad you brought that up.--Jedi Marty 21:32, March 2, 2012 (UTC)

  • Shouldn't quotation marks only be placed outside the period where the sentence begins with a quotation mark not when the quotation starts in the middle of a sentence? Bo Shuda (talk) 09:08, December 15, 2013 (UTC)
  • Hi Asithol. If you are going to continue to change appearances/sources between italics/quotations and vice versa may I remind you that Wookieepedia policy only requires MLA for citations. Not the Appearances & Source lists or article text. I think you may need to take your position on this to the forums to have the Layout Guide/MOS amended to specify that short stories and song titles should be in quotation marks as there actually isn't any policy mandating what you are doing; only the citations that appear in the Notes and References section. Also of note is that MLA is virtually non-existent internationally as Harvard & NPA are the preferred citation methods for scholarly citations. It makes it extremely difficult to adequately cite if the citation method (ie. MLA) is not even freely available. Bo Shuda (talk) 08:05, December 24, 2013 (UTC)

  • This is a warning to you to stop pushing this issue. CC7567 acted perfectly within the bounds of the deletion policy by interpreting this article you attempted to create under the Wookieepedia:Trivia policy; that is to say, its substance is trivial and not deserving of an encyclopedic article here on Wookieepedia. Neither he nor any other administrator is required to take such an article through the Trash compactor process. A quorum of a half-dozen administrators presently in the Wookieepedia IRC channel unanimously supports the deletion of this article, and that's the way it's going to stay. Let it go.
