Upper forest region

The upper forest region was a region located on a mountain range on the Outer Rim planet Serenno, in close proximity to Castle Serenno and Serenno City. The region was home to a large, multi-colored forest of light green and purple leaves. By 19 BBY, Romar Adell's domicile was located there.

In 19 BBY, members of Clone Force 99 crashed in a cargo container on the cliffside of the region. Tech, Echo and Omega all survived however in the crash landing, Tech broke his left femur. The group later traversed the region where they met with Serennian survivor Romar Adell. With no choice, Adell later led them to his domicile where they took shelter. After resting, Omega went on a rogue mission to retrieve some of Dooku's war chest in the cargo container that they crashed in earlier. This caused Adell and the rest of the group to find Omega before Imperial forces captured her. They were successful and managed to save Omega from Imperial forces. They later left the region and the planet in the Marauder.

Tech, Echo and Omega traversing the region.

During an attempted raid on Castle Serenno by Clone Force 99 in the early Imperial Era, members of the Bad Batch detached several cargo containers containing Dooku's war chest that were being transported offworld from Transport Three. At least one such container, which Tech, Echo, and Omega were in, crash-landed in the region, close to the edge of a cliff with Tech having a broken femur from the crash landing. After escaping the container, the Bad Batch members trekked across the region until they encountered Serennian survivor Romar Adell spying on them. This led to Adell, with no choice, to take them to his domicile.

When the Bad Batch members entered Adell's domicile and rested, the members had a heated conversation with Romar regarding the war chest. Later, Adell gave Omega a kaleidoscope and asked Tech to help in repairing a Model two datacore. Tech managed to repair the data core and restored its memory which included Serennian history, culture, art, music, and memories. While Adell thanked Tech for restoring the datacore's memory, Echo came back from scouting for any troopers and asked where Omega was. With Tech speculating that Omega went after the cargo container that crashed on a cliffside of the region, both members immediately went to where the container crashed. Feeling indebted to Tech, Adell followed along.

While Tech and Echo were traveling, Omega used the rappelling cable she stole from Adell to enter the cargo container. Immediately when Echo arrived, the Empire found the Bad Batch members and opened fire on them. This caused Echo to lock himself and Omega in the cargo container to evade blasterfire. When Tech arrived, he noticed the Empire preparing for a Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunship with more reinforcements to arrive. This meant that Tech had to take out the troopers. He managed to stun the troopers present before passing out because of his injury on his left femur.

After Adell woke Tech up, an LAAT/i gunship was arriving to the location the previous clone troopers reported. With no time to waste, Tech manned the guns and destroyed the LAAT/i gunship and two incoming BARC speeders while Adell got the rappelling cable to get Echo and Omega to safety. Adell managed to get Echo and Omega to safety before the container fell from the cliffside. Immediately after, the Marauder arrived to pick up the remaining members. Before leaving, Adell gave Omega the kaleidoscope to keep and said goodbye. The Marauder then left Serenno and jumped to hyperspace.
