A district in the capital city of Cinnagar, the Royal District bordered the Core District and consisted of nine golden spires, each representing a different world in the Empress Teta system. They sat along the equatorial axis, aligned in such a way that the morning sun hit them in the same order in which they orbited their star. The Tetan Royal Palace stood at the center, a complex of the spires connected by low walls.
Locals on the planet insisted that the Iron Citadel formed the foundations of the modern Tetan Royal Palace, while a small minority believed that it was buried deep beneath the spires of the Royal District and served as a shrine for surviving Krath loyalists.
