Ambar

Biography

Ambar was present on the Witherbloom when it was attacked by a ship. After crash-landing, she tended to Xinith Tarl who was injured. The medic escaped the ship before it exploded and diagnosed Tarl's condition. Rok Buran asked her what she required to help the Jedi Master, and she told him all their supplies were destroyed when Witherbloom exploded.

Ambar accompanied the rest of the crew as they went to the crash site of the unidentified ship to search for supplies. When the crew split up to examine the wreckage, Ambar carried Tarl so that Sula Badani could be free to defend the group. Inside the ship, Ambar warned Badani that continuing to move Tarl could kill her. They put her down in a cargo bay and she continued to keep an eye on her.

The medic continued to tend to Tarl as the Jedi was affected by a creature on the hull of the ship. When Badani returned, Ambar checked her for wounds but the Jedi explained how the creature's presence was affecting Force users. When it returned, Ambar asked if she could assist the Jedi. When Badani requested the group move away from the creature, Ambar advised against moving Tarl but was convinced. She realized that she wasn't affected by the creature so she would have to plan their defense. As she prepared, Pako told the medic that the creature would tear through the hull to get to them. Ambar came up a plan to reroute residual engine power through the metal hull plates, hoping to drive it off. She helped move Tarl to another part of the ship, and discovered a medical kit on the way that she used to treat the injured Jedi.

Ambar treated Tarl who regained consciousness. When Pako returned from the engine room, Ambar hugged him and congratulated him on the success of the plan to drive off the creature. Buran and Coron Solstus returned from exploring the other part of the wreckage and brought a group of Path of the Open Hand disciples, one of whom was injured. Ambar treated the blaster wound on the disciple. She stayed in the cargo bay with the wounded as the rest of the group went to attempt to ambush the creature attacking the ship. Tarl realized the creature had entered the ship, and took a defensive position. Ambar warned her that she was severely wounded and should not be moving but the Jedi told the medic that she had no choice.

Tarl realized there were more creatures in the ship, and told Ambar that they had to move somewhere safer. Ambar assisted Geth in walking out of the cargo bay. Their group met up with the rest of the survivors in a corridor. Badani informed them that Pako had been killed when he attacked the creature that was assaulting the Jedi and Ambar was grief-stricken. When the pack of creatures started to close on the survivors, Ambar fled the ship before the engines overloaded and destroyed the wreckage.
