Unidentified Kilji vassal (pilot)

In 18 BBY, a Kilji vassal piloted the Kilji Illumine war cruiser Whetstone under the command of the Illumine's leader, Generalirius Nakirre. Following the warship's arrival at the Unknown Regions' Sunrise system, Nakirre was murdered by his Grysk ally, "Jixtus." As a result, another Kilji vassal informed navigator Qilori of the consequences of being left without a master: that the pilot and the other vassals aboard the Whetstone were unable to either move or think on their own, for the beliefs they adhered to prevented them from doing so.

Qilori then proclaimed himself the vassals' new master, promising to lead the Kiljis until they would be returned to their home. After the Kilji pilot informed their new master that the Whetstones peace-sealing that covered the warship's weapons could be quickly removed, the navigator ordered one of the vassals to carry out the removal. The Whetstone subsequently fired at Jixtus' flagship, the FateSpinner, inducing the Grysk to self-destruct his starship and thereby killing himself.

The vassal appeared in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, the final volume in the Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy written by Timothy Zahn.
