The Techno-lords were a group of Arkanian scientists who created an army for the Arkanian Dominion during the Arkanian Revolution. In response to the Arkanian Renegades' Assimilator cyborgs, the techno-lords created the Accelerated Transgenic Heuristic Abhorers through genetic manipulation and cybernetic enhancement. Following the conclusion of the revolution, the Arkanian Dominion attempted to systematically destroy all the Abhorers. Zeta Magnus, the prime clone of the Abhorers, managed to evade capture and proceeded to hunt down and eat his techno-lord creators out of revenge.
