A flight group was a unit of starfighters. The Galactic Empire used flight groups, such as Alpha Flight Group and Omega Flight Group. The Rebel Alliance also utilized them, including Exeter Group, Feral Group and Cobalt Group. During the Battle of Theed, three N-1 starfighters flew as a flight group led by Rebel Alliance Lieutenant Shara Bey.
