Feral Group was a starfighter flight group that served as part of the Rebel Alliance's starfighter corps during the Galactic Civil War. The squadron most notably participated in the Battle of Cawa City.
Feral Group were a starfighter flight group in the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During the Galactic Civil War, Feral Group's starfighters consisted of BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bombers that were painted gray with red stripes.
Seventeen days after the Battle of Endor, Feral Group's Y-wing bombers were tasked with destroying an All Terrain Armored Transport with support from Green Squadron's A-wings, who fought off any TIE fighters. The Y-wings dropped magnetising cluster bombs that magnetized to the hull of the AT-AT, which guaranteed the kill. At the time of the battle, an Abednedo served as a member of the unit.
Feral Group first appeared in the comic book Shattered Empire 2, which was written by Greg Rucka and published by Marvel Comics on October 7, 2015.
