Fionah Ti

Fionah Ti, the non-Force-sensitive daughter of two Jedi, learned other skills from the Jedi and the Yuuzhan Vong on Zonama Sekot, including basic Shaper skills. After the Sith–Imperial War, the Human journeyed to Wayland on a mission to discover proof that the Ossus Project had not been compromised by the Yuuzhon Vong. Ti remained on Wayland and restored some of the subjects that were mutated by Zenoc Quah, the shaper and saboteur of the Ossus Project.

In 137 ABY, Darth Maladi set a trap for the ex-Jedi Cade Skywalker that used a bounty on Ti to lure him to Wayland. He came with Jariah Syn and Deliah Blue, and the latter was captured and tortured in an attempt to manipulate Skywalker towards the dark side. After rescuing the unconscious Syn, Ti teamed up with him to help rescue his friends; they were also joined by Jedi Master Wolf Sazen. The trio successfully fought Quah's mutated Vongspawn but discovered Maladi had set a self-destruct mechanism on her laboratory, which Ti attempted but failed to disarm. Fionah Ti fled the explosion with Sazen and Syn while Skywalker healed Blue with the light side of the Force.

Early life

Fionah Ti was a female Human, the daughter of the two Jedi assigned to Zonama Sekot at some point before the Sith–Imperial War. Born without Force-sensitivity, Ti was nevertheless taught fighting skills by both Jedi and the Yuuzhan Vong, as well as basic Shaper skills by the latter.

When the Sith-Imperial War commenced, Zonama Sekot fled into hyperspace and its inhabitants lost contact with the Ossus Jedi; they only later learned about the massacre on Ossus. Ti and others were given a mission to uncover proof that the Ossus Project was sabotaged. Since the Vongspawn virus began on Wayland, Ti traveled there and discovered that someone, the Yuuzhon Vong saboteur Zenoc Quah, had continued experimenting with Vongspawn mutations. In time, Ti discovered a way to restore some of the mutated subjects to their original form.

Marked for a trap

In 137 ABY, Darth Maladi set a trap for the former Jedi Cade Skywalker and paid the pirate Rav one million credits to give up Skywalker. After tracking Skywalker to Zeltros, the pirate claimed to have a bounty job for one million credits to deal with a "local pest"—in actuality, Fionah Ti— who was infering with the business of some associates on Wayland. Skywalker, his friend Jariah Syn, and his lover Deliah Blue accepted the bounty.

The trio was attacked and left unconscious by the near-fatal screams of mutated Vongspawn. Blue was carried off to a laboratory before Ti could help her and Skywalker left only blood behind in the time it took to bring Syn to Ti's ship. When he awakened, Syn tried to attack Ti without waiting for explanations. After briefly describing the events, Ti performed a shoulder throw on Syn, then provided further details of what had transpired while he was unconscious. When he mentioned that he had come with Cade Skywalker, Ti recognized the name, knowing of him and his father, Kol Skywalker. As Syn grew angry that Rav had set them up, an amphistaff appeared behind Ti. Speaking in the Yuuzhan Vong language, Syn calmed and claimed the amphistaff for himself with the name Heartstriker. Ti was impressed and called him a warrior, then offered to work with him to find his friends.

To the rescue

Ti and Syn journeyed to where they both believed his friends were being held. Although Ti was concerned that Blue and Skywalker may be beyond help, Syn insisted they had to try. The Zabrak Jedi Master Wolf Sazen also arrived on Wayland after having visions that Skywalker needed him. Sazen was initially skeptical until Syn described Ti as "a friend," which he said was enough. The three then continued onward together to the laboratary.

As they fought Quah's creations, Syn attacked the Vuuzhon Vong with Heartstriker to protect Ti. When Syn, Sazen, and Ti located Blue, they found that Maladi had tortured and infected her to manipulate Skywalker. Maladi had set a self-destruct mechanism on the laboratory, and despite never seeing the technology before, Ti attempted to disarm it; however, they were all running out of time. While Skywalker remained behind to attempt to heal Blue, which Sazen urged him to do using the light side of the Force instead of the dark, Ti fled from the impending explosion with Syn and Sazen. Afterward, the trio learned that Skywalker had succeeded and the couple had survived.
