Davnar II

Davnar II, also known as Davnar, was a planet located in the Core Worlds and the Interior regions, in grid square K-9 on the Standard Galactic Grid. The planet occupied the second orbital position in its star system. It was the homeworld of the kalidor, a predatory avian species, as well as historian Eloc Throno.

At some point, Throno left Davnar II to study cartography at the Graf Archive on the moon Orchis 2. Sometime after leaving his homeworld, Throno mentioned the planet in his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu, which detailed the planet Batuu, and also included a map depicting the location of Davnar II in the work.

Davnar II was added to the new Star Wars canon by the 2016 Fantasy Flight Games sourcebook Lead by Example. The 2020 reference book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu, written by Cole Horton, introduced the alternate name "Davnar" for the planet. Davnar II was originally first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1979 novel Han Solo at Stars' End, written by Brian Daley, and made its first appearance in the 1998 video game Star Wars: Rebellion.
