A species of large, gray, non-sentient quadrupeds was native to the plains of the planet Utapau. During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker tried to tame several members of the species in order to use one as beast of burden to transport a large Kyber crystal. The beasts paid no attention to him however and then ran off, forcing the Jedi to use a jamel to transport the crystal.
The quadrupeds were created for "Crystal Crisis," an episode of the cancelled sixth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars which was published as an unfinished story reel on StarWars.com in 2014 as part of The Clone Wars Legacy.
