Huppla Pasa in Geektionary

Hi Omicron! Whenever you have the time, I was wondering if you might be able to check something in Star Wars: Geektionary: The Galaxy from A - Z for me. Essentially, I'm trying to confirm if any sources explicitly mention that Huppla Pasa Tisc Shipwrights Collective was run by Geonosians/based on Geonosis in canon, as the current source (Star Wars Journeys: Beginnings) is unfortunately inaccessible. Geektionary is the last source I have yet to check and the only one I don't have access to, so I'd greatly appreciate it if you could take a look for me. I doubt Huppla Pasa will have its own entry, so I imagine it may be mentioned in the entries pertaining to the Geonosian starfighter, Dooku's solar sailer, and maybe even in ones about Geonosians and Geonosis itself. Thank you! DwartiiDelver (talk) 23:08, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

Suggestion

Hi, just a suggestion regarding your edit here. It's a good practice to employ regular paragraph breaks instead of having a massive wall of text, which doesn't look good to viewers. Lots of status articles have lost their status due to having massive paragraphs without breaks (mainly due to the migration from Monobook to Oasis). UberSoldat93 (talk) 09:21, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

Mustafarian Lava X

Hi Omicron! Just a heads-up in case you don't watch the page that I responded here to your suggestion of merging Mustafarian Lava Roll with Mustafarian Lava Bun. Let's discuss! Immi Thrax (talk) 21:03, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

Hey…I just wanted to apologize

I’m sorry if I caused any issues or anything. I was honestly just trying to help.

First one person now you can this please stop

Stop deleting things ok because in Tales of Jabba's Palace it says when Oola resists Jabba she doesn't care if the guards beat her again. Also in both the novels Tales of Jabba's Palace and Beware the Power of the Dark Side it says that Oola would rather die than do what Jabba wants.

Tales of Jabba's Palace it mentions about Oola locked away horrified when the Rancor was eating someone she didn't want to see the person die but she is also scared of the Rancor it also says that "She hoped she was next on the menu". But when she finally was going to be eaten by the Rancor in both Tales of Jabba's Palace and Beware the Power of the Dark Side it says she tried to step aside tried to move back from the trapdoor when Jabba was pushing the button but she couldn't get out of the way fast enough.

There are two books that mention about Oola trying to get off the trapdoor when the time came for Jabba to kill her. Again two books or novels mention this. Does no one read any of the books or if you and others do read them do they not notice those parts in or some how miss those details when reading? Thick Metal (talk) 4:06 December 23 (UTC)

Dathomir in Galactic Explorer's Guide

Hello Omicron! I was wondering if you could tell me what the Galactic Explorer's Guide says about Dathomir. Thank you! AmazinglyCool (talk) 14:08, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

Comments for reversion of Lucrehulk Information reverted:

The name Lucrehulk is a portmanteau of the word lucre meaning "Money, riches, or wealth, especially when seen as having a corrupting effect or causing greed, or obtained in an underhanded manner. " and the word hulk meaning "A large or unwieldy boat, other object, or person. Also an old ship stripped of fittings and permanently moored, especially for use as storage or (formerly) as a prison."

How is any of that speculation?

Fact1: Lucre is a word with the stated definition.

Fact2: Hulk is a word with the stated definition.

Fact3: Lucrehulk is a concatenation of the words Lucre and Hulk.

There was no statement that the authors knew the definitions of either word (tho clearly they did because writers are literate) or they had intention of combining them (tho clearly they did because it fits the Trade federation).

This is like discussing the word Battleship and considering it speculation to say it is a concatenate of Battle and Ship.

Re: Categories

I noticed your message, and suppose I've already messed up a little in fulfilling your request as I wasn't aware of it. I'm not sure how I didn't notice but I'll stop for as long as my memory holds up. I know why I added the Czerka products to the main category of Czerka- that being the categories description which reads; "This category is for any thing related to Czerka." So that others do not make the same mistake I have I suggest a change to that description. Something more specific like; "This is a directory category containing sub-categories on specifics pertaining to Czerka. This is not a category for specific pages." Such would include a hyperlinked word (Czerka) to direct browsers to Czerka's main article thus keeping it out of the category. Baron Joshua (talk) 01:02, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

Due to anxiety issues I may or may not have overstepped bounds by editing the description after another user edited it in a way that I felt would only encourage others to make the mistake I have. If I have indeed done wrong in this, I'll put up no protest. Truth be told I meant no harm and should have read editing policies before doing what I've done. I can at least hope that the new description accomplishes what I'm seeking to do though given as I'm in a panic like state I'll stop making more changes lest fear grip me more tightly than it already is as I've made a few grammarical erors. Chronicles

You were citing info in the intro for Guardians which was unnecessary, and technically you were citing all the prior info to Chronicles which wouldn't be accurate. As for Hedda, from what I can see the info was finely cited to Light of the Jedi, and again you'd citing all the prior info to Chronicles which isn't citeable entirely to Chronicles. Hope this helps! Pako

Then those should be updated to reflect, and simply just haven't been yet. The standard in this kind of situation is to write it into a note. If you went validation, then I hope these featured articles are enough for you. I recommend looking at Maximian Ajax, Winshur Bratt, L'ulo L'ampar, Ruescott Melshi, Theron Nett, Vlex Onopin, to name just a few Lewisr (talk) 20:09, 24 May 2023 (UTC)

How is that vandalism?

Re: Pako (Witherbloom)

Ah fair enough, I was basing it off the general design of the character. Also, the fact we have gray Kadas'sa'Nikto. (though it could just be an eye thing) Bonzane10 16:10, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
