Valley of the Dark Lords

Please stop adding that picture. It's not official and therefore shouldn't be used on Wookieepedia. Green Tentacle 21:32, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

  • It was a fan-made map from GameFAQs which is not an officially licensed source. If you are aware of any unofficial images being used in articles on the wiki then please let me know and they will be removed. Green Tentacle 18:52, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Felucia

Please stop trying to add that image to the Felucia article because (a)the image doesn't exist, (b) there's enough images already, and (c)you added OOU content to an in-universe article and didn't properly caption the picture. -- AdmirableAckbar 19:48, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

  • An OOU caption means an Out-of-Universe caption. Articles are written In-Universe, so real-world things like Battlefront II shouldn't be included in the text. The problem with the image is that it's of very poor quality and has an incorrect licensing template; you don't own the copywrite, so the self-GDFL template is incorrect. To place an image caption: [[:File:name of image.jpg|thumb|left/right|XXXpx|Caption]]. The Felucia article already has enough images though, and that image is not actually illustrating anything useful. Also, I would prefer if you spoke proper English on my talk page, though that is merely a preference. Thanks, -- 20:00, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Re:

Thanks for the congratulations; becoming an administrator has been a goal of mine for some time. If you're looking for userboxes, a good place to start would be Wookieepedia:Template messages/User namespace/#Userboxes. They are simple templates which you can place on your userpage by typing a word in brackets {{like this}}. Graestan 20:59, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Fanon

No worries. I trust you are able to access the histories to transfere it across to the other wiki? --Eyrezer 22:11, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Darth Odysseas

hello its me spartan-53,I just joined to wookiepedia and I want to ad you to my wookiepedia friend list. Can I have your permission?

P.S:I am a supporter of the dark side too:)

Re: Point of view

My point of view objections really have more to do with sourcing the article. A lot of the statements about the Galactic Alliance abandoning Mandalore, not helping them rebuild, etc. are said by the Mandalorians themselves and we don't know how much the GA really "abandoned" them. We don't get any objective viewpoint, so a lot of the info is questionable and understandably biased towards the Mandalorians. Also, mentions of the Yuuzhan Vong singling out the Mandalorian warriors because they were a danger to them, is questionable as well (phrases like "one goal: to destroy the Mandalorians"). Once again, unfairly biased towards the Mandalorians. We don't have a first hand representation of the battle, so statements like that are suspect. So while I appreciate you removing weasel words and the like, the POV issue is really more about sourcing the information present. Until that is done, the POV tag should stay. Welcome

I'm incredibly exausted so I'll be breif. Welcome to WP:KOTOR, if you are sure about joining, leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, goodshae- ... snore NaruHina 14px 04:05, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Alright then, read the WP:MOS and its supplements to get an idea of how to write "good artcles" and/or "featured articles" I suggest undertaking a small project at first such as an NPC from kotor 1 or 2 to get started, or you might end up like me with a big research project. There are really only two rules to a wookieeproject, don't be a jerk all the time and no fanon, but I think you already know that. Good luck and contact me or another project member if you have questions. NaruHina14px 21:09, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Re:Kreia

Sure, I'll work on it with you. I'm doing the sourcing on my sub-page, do you have a sub-page, too, or are you just working on the actualk article itself? Because I'm doing the sub-page, then when we're done we can put the sub-page and replace the actual article with the sub-page info.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 19:10, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

  • By the way, Drewton is also helping me with the sub-page, you can access it [[User:Jedi Kasra/Project:Evil Witch|here]]. As I told him, I'll handle the sourcing, and I greatly appreciate your help.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 19:30, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Yes, please edit only the sub-page.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 20:24, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Brood

Collaboration on the Brood project would be a good idea, since I honestly don't know when I would have got to it on my own since I have at least three FAs under construction (which includes Kota), plus a personal project on-going. Do you have access to the behind the scenes books of TFU? - Cavalier One20px 09:19, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

WP:KOTOR Meeting

Hello Darth tom. Please note that there will be a project meeting for WP:KOTOR at 0:00 UTC (approx. 7:00pm Eastern Time) Saturday, 31 January, 2009. Please click here for further details, including agenda. Cheers Madclaw 00:49, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Hey Darth tom. This is just a reminder that there will be a project meeting for WP:KOTOR on Saturday, 31 January, 2009 at 0:00 UTC. More information can be found here. 17:29, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

TFU

I have both the novel and the comic. Is there something you need from either of them? - Cavalier One20px 01:31, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Brooding over things ...

Hey, Darth tom; I'm going to be clearing a few of my projects up over the next few days, so hopefully I can start work on Maris soon. I'll create a subpage for the work, as that's my preferred style for working on big articles rather than tying up the main namespace article, and I generally like rewriting everything from scratch. Also, as an Admin, I can delete it fairly easily once the project is complete. I'll send you the link once I set it up in a day or two. - Cavalier One20px 15:09, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Peragus II

Hey there Darth tom. I was just wondering if you were planning to renominate Peragus II for GA because if you don't want to (which is completely up to you), I might have a crack at it. SoresuMakashi 08:02, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Alright, that's fine. Good luck. SoresuMakashi 00:15, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Paratus

I think I read somewhere that you're starting a Kazdan Paratus FAN project, I have the book, what kind of things are you looking for? NaruHina 14px 02:24, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Sure, I'll help. I'll probably start updating it later today or tomorrow. NaruHina14px 08:07, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
  • Hey, Darth tom. Just so you know, The Force Unleashed Campaign Guide states that Paratus used the lightsaber form Shien. Just thought I'd let you know.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:22, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

WookieeProject Knights of the Old Republic

In light of recent events, I have been asked to take over the leadership of the KotOR WookieeProject. If you would like to continue working with this project, please leave me a message on my talk page within the week. Otherwise, I will assume that you have prior commitments that will keep you from being able to participate. Thanks. 08:43, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Garm Bel Iblis

I saw you had Bel Iblis as a future project on your workspace page. Just to let you know, I'm currently working on Bel Iblis with the intention of getting him to FA. -- AdmirableAckbar 12:33, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

  • No worries. :) -- AdmirableAckbar 12:36, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Brood subpage

I have eventually gotten around to making the Brood subpage! It's located here. Basically, I've stripped the article to it's bare bones, sectioned it and removed all the info since I prefer writing from scratch to maintain a consistent flow. The only section untouched is the BTS, which has some useful information that we'll still be needing. Images are located at the bottom in a gallery for placement.

A note on the referencing system - I used the same system on the Kota rewrite I'm working on. Basically, it is: TFU=Book, TFUc=Comic, TFUvg=Video Game, TFUdb=information found in the in-game Databank.

I would suggest all discussion relating to the article should go on the subpage's talk page so we don't go back and forth between our talk pages. I would like your thoughts on which you consider to be more "Canon" - the book or game? I generally go with the novel over the game since gameplay experiences can change. - Cavalier One20px 09:32, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Duel in the Caverns GAN

Hey Tom, I addressed your objections for Duel in the Caverns of the Hidden One on GAN. Do you have any others, or are you now in support? Thanks! Jonjedigrandmaster 03:18, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Katuunko

That'd be great actually. I've been so busy with my classes I haven't had the chance to get around to it but a collaboration would be wonderful. :) Darth Trayus 30px 07:30, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm fine with working on it as is unless you have any prefrence. Darth Trayus30px 07:34, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Todd

Hi. Could you please check Todd again? I believe I have addressed your objections, but you didn't strike two of them on the GAN page. If you're still dissatisfied with something please let me know. Cheers, QuiGonJinn 13:44, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Alright. I have expanded it a bit more. QuiGonJinn 14:15, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Ambush Decoded

Hi Tom. Just wanted to let you and Trayus know that the Ambush Decoded episode stated that Katuunko's sword was ceremonial, and in presenting it to the Jedi, he entrusted the Jedi with his planet's protection. Cheers. CC7567 18:27, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Thank you very much for the update and the support. =] I'm sorry we couldn't work together more, but we should try and find another article to collaborate on in the future. I'll look forward to that. Also, i'll let you know before I throw it up on a FAN so you can give it a look-see to check it over. Thanks! Darth Trayus30px 23:08, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Re: User talk: Dark Lord Trayus

Hi Tom; just noticed a comment you made on Trayus' talk page, and I'd thought I'd address one of them for you. TCW novel only features the events of the film, not any of the battles of the series. Hope that helps. CC7567 18:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

One month already

Hello to all the members of WookieeProject: The Clone Wars! Considering the project has just been launched, we've had a great first month, taking three articles to FA status and five articles to GA status. I would like to remind you to please try to do whatever you can to help out; there are still many potential articles that can be taken up as projects, and many of you are already working very hard on them. In the next month, we have a goal to double (if not multiply even more) our current FAs and GAs, because once Season Two starts airing, there will be a ton of more articles that will require attention, and it's best if we get as many as we can out of the way now. Thank you for contributing! Your project head, CC7567 20:21, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi

I saw some of your comments on Darthpedia i thought we all had to be nice why are you and supergeeky and hansoloandleia being mean?--204.184.47.253 18:46, 27 May 2009 (UTC)--204.184.47.253 18:46, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Regarding my edit to Amani

I would like to know how my edits where in the wrong section so I can improve my editions in the future. --DarthPhane 14:32, 28 May 2009 (UTC) DarthPhane

  • I see, thank you for the assistance. --DarthPhane 14:37, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

One last thing i would like to join WookieeProject Aliens but I can't figure out how to(sorry if I'm bothering you) --DarthPhane 14:44, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Re;

Wow, sorry about that. It'll be my first order of the day tomorrow, I promise. -- AdmirableAckbar 23:32, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Itchy (I can't be bothered spelling Attichitcuk properly)

AFAICR, there's no mention of him being a Wookiee chieftain. I say AFAICR, because my internets are slow, and there's no way for me to check. YouTube has it in segments, I think, if you can check that, but I'm pretty sure he does nothing but wander around and...well...pleasure himself. Thefourdotelipsis 00:38, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Hey Tom

Hey Tom, I would like to join you and Commander with fixing up Ahsoka Tano, seeing that was going to be one of my future projects. Ill sign in my name in the {{C|}} once you reply to this message. :) 15:32, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

  • Thank you Tom :) Anytime if you and Tony like to talk about the article, I'm always available in IRC channel #TCW. 15:44, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

IRC

I need to talk to you on IRC regarding your co-project of Ahsoka Tano. I'll catch you in WP:TCW when I get the chance. CC7567 16:54, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Project: Ahsoka

Tom, I talked to CC on IRC and he is worried. I'll get more in-depth and explain the problem with both you and Tony on #TCW. We need to schedule a day so we can discuss about the project. One great note is that Jon believes that we will carry on and successfully finish the project. I hope you guys are fully committed, this will be a large project and the result of us finishing it and FAing Ahsoka will earn us great respect within Wook. I have already began a list of appearances and sources of Ahsoka. We can get organized and see what you are going to do and what Tony is going to do, I'll be maintaining the BTS, appearances, and sources. We can explain more of this in #TCW. Us three can get started and fix up Ahsoka in your sandbox Tom, and get Season One-related material out of the way. :) Thanks, and lets make this a great experience. 22:09, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm aware that CC spoke to you guys but I'll explain to you guys what he told me, and it's mostly negative. Jon praised us and hopes that we follow through with this :) 15:10, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Peragus II CSWE info

  • "When travelers spoke of Peragus, they were usually referring to the Peragus Mining Colony, a labyrinthine industrial facility hollowed out of an asteroid archipelago orbiting Peragus II."
  • "before the Jedi Civil War, a mining accident detonated a portion of the planet's surface and ejected into space. Considered a part of Republic space, the gas-mining operations on Peragus II were originally established by a group of merchants and tradesmen who supplied Republic forces during the Great Sith War. After the surface facility was destroyed, it was rebuilt in the asteroids, and strict safety protocols remained in effect."
  • Darth Sion destroyed the main Peragus II asteroid and the mining colony facility.
  • Hope this helps. 20:48, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Forn CSWE

"A doctor who researched the cause of the rakghoul infection during the era of the Jedi Civil War, he operated a medical facility in the Upper City of Taris. Zelka Forn was aided by a group of Jedi Knights from the Endar Spire who supplied a Sith-created serum that counteracted the virus." 21:04, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Current GANs

Hey, Darth tom; you currently have two GANs - Peragus II and Zelka Forn - with outstanding objections on them. I was just wondering if you plan to address them, as it is coming up to the three week period for removal if the objections aren't addressed. Regards, Cavalier One20px 09:28, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

WP:TCW again

Hey Darth tom. As project head for WP:TCW, I'm trying to get a better idea of who's still interested in participating in our project. If you're still interested in participating, please leave a note on my talk page or contact me in IRC. If you do not respond within a week, I will assume that you are no longer interested in participating. That doesn't mean that your name will be removed from the "Participants" list, but it means that any of your current projects will be removed from the project page so that others have a chance to work on them. Likewise, if you currently have any projects under your belt, I highly encourage you to review them, and if you don't plan on working on them within the next two or three weeks, I recommend reconsidering them. Thanks. Your project head, CC7567 05:49, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Iridonian

Hey, Darth tom. I fixed the quotes in the article from the "Mandalorian mercenary" to say they were from Ergeron, since Canderous Ordo calls the Mandalorian this in-game.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:24, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Gerd

Sup Tom. I addressed your objections to Gerd a while ago, but you haven't struck them yet. Check 'em out when you get the time. Cheers, IFYLOFD 18:14, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Iridonian

Hi Tom. I've rewritten the Bts for Iridonian, in an attempt to make it clearer. I split it into a few smaller paragraphs in order to do so. I hope you don't mind. I also think it could have a short "Biology and appearance" section, perhaps analogous to the one found in Dolandu. Perhaps: "The Iridonians were a sentient and bipedal species. They had five fingered hands, with opposable thumbs, and some wore full-body armor. One member of the species, found on Manaan, was approximately the same height as the Human Revan."

Something like that. I don't know if you can tell how many fingers from anothe angle so that bit might need to go or be modified. I presume you can make a height comparison, although I am not certain about that either. --Eyrezer 04:08, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

HK subpage

Hey Tom. Could you remove this subpage from the categories so people don't confuse it for an article (like my bot did :P). Just put the colon at the start of each category categories so they are just links for the time being. Cheers. Grunny 10:01, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

WP:TCW

Tom, I'd like to know if you're still committed to your current WP:TCW projects of Battle of Rishi moon and Hondo Ohnaka. I asked you this in IRC before you went on vacation, and you stated that you still intended to do them, but since then, I haven't seen any evidence to indicate your commitment to them. If you're still on vacation, please let me know, but otherwise, the articles should be freed up so that others have a chance to do them. CC7567 04:49, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Please respond. It's been over a month now. If you can get on IRC (as you've done recently), you can get on Wookieepedia. If I don't hear from you within a week, I will assume that you no longer have the time or the intention of completing your reserved projects. CC7567 08:24, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
