Unidentified Imperial governor (Madelin Sun)

A member of the Galactic Empire served as the governor of a sector that contained the world Antillion, where former University of Bar'leth Sava Madelin Sun sold items between around 8 BBY and 2 BBY. During that time, the smuggler Han Solo reported Sun to a trio of stormtroopers for possession of illegal contraband so he could search her home for an urn he sought.

The troopers then began aggressively searching Sun's home and possessions, and feeling that she was being unfairly treated, the former sava objected their actions calling them "outrageous" and added that she intended to file a report to the governor about the incident. After the soldiers discovered an illegal artifact, the stormtrooper commander present informed Sun they would have to file a report to the governor about the discovery of illegal contraband, which Sun protested. Immediately after, the troopers were killed by Lady Qi'ra—the leader of the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn—and Sun left with Qi'ra.

The Imperial governor was created for the third issue of the 2021 comic miniseries Star Wars: Crimson Reign. The issue was written by Charles Soule and published by Marvel Comics on March 9, 2022. Prior to the release of the issue, the governor was mentioned in a preview article of the issue released on StarWars.com on March 2 of the same year. In the issue, Sun refers to the governor as the "Imperial governor of this sector," while the third issue of the 2022 miniseries Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca—written by Marc Guggenheim and published by Marvel on June 29 that year—depicts the same scene with the dialogue altered to refer to the governor as the "Imperial governor for this sector."
