In 1 ABY a spacer had infiltrated the tribe and stolen several ancient relics of the Sand People culture. The Tusken Raiders became furious and launched a raid on a nearby city of Mos Espa seeking retribution. After a long and perilous battle the local citizens and spacers managed to drive the Tuskens away from the city. The Tusken King himself was killed in the battle. The Tusken King was also responsible for taking over the Tusken Bunker that had formerly been owned by the Empire.
The Tusken King was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. The Tusken King was added to the game as part of the "Tusken Army" Heroic Encounter, introduced with the release of the "Chapter 7" update, on November 1, 2007.
