A thermos was an insolated container used to keep liquids warm. When being stationed on the frigid ice planet Hoth, rebel supply runner Chase Wilsorr developed an attraction toward tauntaun handler Jordan Smythe, and secretly used his own thermos to keep Smythe's caf warm during the fourteen minute walk from the kitchens of Echo Base to the tauntaun pens where Smythe worked, on the opposite side of the base. Wilsorr also wrapped the thermos and kept it in his pack, for extra insulation.
