"The Curse of the Nameless" was a story known to the thief and Rebel Alliance lieutenant Thom Hudd. During his time as a prisoner in Fortress Vader on Mustafar, Hudd attempted to stall his captor, Vaneé, by telling him the story of the Nameless. Vaneé, however, had grown tired of Hudd's tales and prepared to execute him. According to Hudd, the story was frightening enough that it could keep one awake at night.
