Getting captured

At Valtos space port on the planet Valtos, the smuggler Han Solo was loading crates into the Millennium Falcon. He contacted his Wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca wondering where he was. He told Chewbacca to hurry up and get back. As he was loading the crate, droid bounty hunter, 4-LOM charged at Solo, shooting at him. 4-LOM shot Han Solo's blaster pistol out of his hand and Solo made a quick dash behind the crate and once again contacted Chewbacca, asking him to hurry up. But 4-LOM's bounty hunter partner, Zuckuss snuck up behind Solo and shot him into a stun net with his electrified net gun. Zuckuss warned Solo not to struggle otherwise the stun net will tighten. The Corellian smuggler tried to Zuckuss by double the pay for the bounty on his head but 4-LOM brushed him off, knowing that it was next to impossible for Solo to pay for the bounty Rekias Nodo had placed on him. Han Solo knew who Rekias Nodo was and tried to convince the bounty hunters that Nodo would betray them but to no avail. Zuckuss told Solo that his cargo will make him a small fortune on the Black market and order 4-LOM to load him on the speeder and brought him to their starship.

Chewbacca to the rescue

Zuckuss and 4-LOM's ship, the Mist Hunter smelled terrible to Han Solo. 4-LOM explained that the gases on the ship remind Zuckuss of his homeworld, Gand. Solo walked by a prisoner on the ship named Beris Ford. 4-LOM put Solo in his prison cell which was closed off by a force field. Once 4-LOM left, Solo called out to Ford who was in the prison cell across from him, that he will get them out. Ford questioned if he was supposed to be impressed and Solo told him he should because it's not every day you get rescued by Han Solo. Beris Ford still had no idea who he was and Han told to just remember the name.

In the cockpit of the Mist Hunter, 4-LOM reported to Zuckuss that he was ready to go and that they should leave before Chewbacca comes back. Zuckuss reported that he will be ready once he finished checking the cargo. But Zuckuss felt that something was wrong even though 4-LOM didn't believe him. All of the sudden, Chewbacca came out from behind one of the crates and launched himself at Zuckuss. 4-LOM was trying to figure out what was going on as Chewbacca threw Zuckuss to the floor. Zuckuss tried to reach for his snare rifle but Chewbacca took it. The snare rifle shot out a stun net around Zuckuss.

Escape

Beris Ford and Han Solo were going over their plan when Chewbacca arrived to break Han Solo out of prison. After Chewbacca freed the two, Ford asked why they had bothered to get captured if they were going to escape. Solo told him that it was a rescue mission and that Beris Ford's family had paid them a lot of credits to get him out of the Mist Hunter. Zuckuss who was tied to the ceiling in the stun net, knew he should've known. Solo order Chewbacca to throw Beris Ford into a barrel much to Ford's resistance. They stole a speeder and made their way back to the Millennium Falcon'.

When they were getting ready to leave, 4-LOM and Zuckuss appeared, trying to stop Han Solo and Chewbacca leaving. But Solo toke a barrel and rolled it into the bounty hunters. They then left the planet on their ship. Solo ejected the barrel with Beris Ford in it, into space but a homing beacon was attached to the barrel so Ford's family could find him. Han and Chewbacca believed that things were looking up for them but all the sudden, 4-LOM and Zuckuss reappeared in their ship and started to chased down the Falcon.
