Rekias Nodo

Rekias Nodo was a reptilian male criminal and mechanic who ran a shipyard on a jungle planet, stripping down stolen starships for parts. After the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca crash-landed on the planet, Solo was caught attempting to steal a heat exchanger to repair his vessel, the Millennium Falcon. Solo claimed that he was Jabba the Hutt, which deceived Nodo until the crime boss Lallani visited the shipyard to capture "Jabba." The smugglers managed to escape, rescuing the slave Meecha Odon and several hostages from Nodo. Following the encounter, Nodo placed a bounty on Han Solo's head sometime after the two encountered one another.

Rekias Nodo first appeared in Choose Your Destiny: A Han & Chewie Adventure, a novel in the Star Wars: Choose Your Destiny series written by Cavan Scott, illustrated by Elsa Charretier, and published on April 17, 2018. His first name was given in the comic story "Hunter vs Hunted," also written by Scott and published by IDW Publishing in Star Wars Adventures Free Comic Book Day 2018 on May 5, 2018.

In Choose Your Destiny: A Luke & Leia Adventure, another entry in the Choose Your Destiny series released on October 2, 2018, Rekias Nodo appears in a non-canonical ending. Nodo boards the Millennium Falcon in search of Solo, instead encountering Rebel Alliance members Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. Nodo decides to take the two rebels prisoner, hoping to bargain with the Rebellion in exchange for Solo and Chewbacca.
