The key figure in the cell was Berren Sid Té, who had built himself up from a hawker to run a vast network of licensed vendors on the streets of Fabrillan, and used his extensive knowledge of the goings-on in the city to act as an information broker.
However, this network was kept separate from the cell itself, which only had four other members - the heavy-drinking pilot Margo Flarestream, smuggler-turned-spaceport-administrator Gina Typolla, the axe-swinging, grenade-throwing alien enforcer Bakku, and the droid-repair tech Spek-Man.
The group had been recruited in such a way that its members were generally unaware of each other's identities, maintaining contact through dead-drops and intermediaries - even Sid, who seemed determined to know everything that was going on in Fabrillan, attempted, with varying levels of success, to keep his knowledge of the cell's other members to a minimum.
The cell was regarded by General Cracken as a very versatile and effective unit, combining an information-gathering role with various forms of expert support for Alliance agents on Malthor.
