Slandarvia M-9 was an astronomical object in the Mid Rim that was affiliated with Baron Slandarv of the Galactic Empire. Slandarv operated a on Slandarvia M-9 that was surrounded by worker housing. In his factory, Slandarv secretly developed a new model of battle droid. Assistant Data Processor Fabarian, a member of Administrator Sly Moore's breakaway faction known as the Schism Imperial, gained access to Slandarv's offices and confirmed the battle droid's construction. The Sith Lord Darth Vader, who was operating with the Schism Imperial, led a to Slandarvia M-9 to take control of the factory and force Slandarv to authorize a reprogram of his droids so that they would obey Vader.
