The select committee of Imperial High Command was a committee of the Galactic Empire's Imperial High Command that oversaw several bureaucratic matters regarding the Imperial Military, including awarding contracts for industrialization, militarization, and major deployments of Imperial Navy forces to Imperial worlds.
During the Imperial Era when Governor Arihnda Pryce of Lothal served alongside Senator Domus Renking, her planet was pitted against Governor Sanz and the planet Kintoni in order for which world would serve as a better focus point for the Imperial Navy in their section of the Outer Rim Territories. In the meeting to award the contract, the select committee was represented by a Warrant Officer and two civilians, and awarded the contract to Lothal.
