Sansanna spice

Sansanna spice was a type of spice found throughout the galaxy, sought after by many criminals.

After the renegade Sith Maul and Savage Opress raided a space station in the Cybloc system, they stole a transport ship containing a crate of pure sansanna spice. The crate was discovered by members of Hondo Ohnaka's pirate gang when they boarded the ship.

Lom Pyke, leader of the Pyke Syndicate during the Clone Wars, was an avid consumer of sansanna spice, with his fingers and face stained from heavy usage. Lom also wore an amulet containing some of the spice.

The smuggler Platt Okeefe recommended it as a profitable cargo in the pirate Maz Kanata's Smuggler's Guide. Okeefe warned against trafficking variants such a ryll or the strains of spice mined on Kessel, and suggested that smugglers stick to variants like carsunum, andris, and sansanna spice.
