Samran Phesh

Samran Phesh was an individual who served as a captain in the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing as the squadron leader of Squadron Six. When Nath Tensent recounted his failed attack on the Trenchenovu shipyards, Imperial defector Yrica Quell imagined what Phesh would have done if in command of the Imperial forces. Squadron Six once proclaimed Phesh to be the Lord-Protector's jester during the Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath, a holiday in the Colonies, though he'd once been the gathering's staunchest openent, acting as chaperone rather than celebrant and twice forbid his squadron to attend.

Samran Phesh was first mentioned in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, the first instalment of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy written by Alexander Freed. The pilot later appeared in the second novel of Freed's trilogy Shadow Fall, released in 2020. Phesh's first name, Samran was identified in the final instalment of the trilogy, the 2021 novel Victory's Price.
