Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath

The Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath was a holiday from the Colonies region which was approved by the Galactic Empire's Culture Ministry. The TIE pilots of the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing celebrated the Feast officially when throwing a party for their commanding officer Shakara Nuress's birthday.

Biography

The Feast of Jarmanidath was an obscure holiday which originated from a world in the Colonies region. The Galactic Empire's Culture Ministry approved the holiday for celebration, although the reason eluded Yrica Quell, a TIE pilot of the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. Quell's comrade, Xion, once speculated that the approval had been an error which the Culture Ministry had found too embarrassing to correct. The pilots of the 204th officially celebrated the Feast when marking the birthday of their commanding officer, Colonel Shakara Nuress.

Over the years, the birthday party acquired more and more traditions over the true feast. One of the pilots, Captain Samran Phesh, had been a firm opponent to the gathering and forbade his own squadron, Squadron Six, from attending until by 5 ABY, when Nuress had since perished and had been replaced by Major-then-Colonel Soran Keize. Despite Nuress's loss, the 204th pilots continued to celebrate her birthday with the Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath that year, and Phesh was proclaimed the Lord-Protector's jester by his squadron.
