Rebak was an operative of the Rebel Alliance during the Imperial Era. At some point, the Rebellion began doing business with the Hidden Hand criminal syndicate with the intent of purchasing arms from them. As a member of the Rebellion, Rebak intended to purchase a number of bot-drones from Wef, an arms dealer associated with the Hidden Hand who operated on the astronomical object Heva.
During the cyborg bounty hunter Beilert Valance's hunt for the Sith Lord Darth Vader in 1 BBY, Wef informed members of the bounty hunter's crew, Dengar and Honnah, about Rebak's deal. The arms dealer stated she was a tough customer and that she was interested in purchasing the bot-drones that Valance's team also intended to buy from the arms dealer. Ultimately, Valance and his crew acquired the drones and used them against the Imperial Star Destroyer Formidable, which had followed them to Heva.
