The Hidden Hand was a mysterious criminal syndicate affiliated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic that was active during the reign of the Galactic Empire. In 1 BBY, the syndicate hired a group of bounty hunters led by the fallen Imperial officer Beilert Valance to hunt and take out Darth Vader. Vader himself, however, was on the hunt for the syndicate at the same time.
