Ravik was a male individual who served the Galactic Empire as a Grand Moff and controlled the Tolonda Oversector. During a sabacc game at a social event on the planet Ryloth, Ravik caught attention to Lieutenant Ralchio Nervi of the 14th Sector Fleet, and promoted him to being the captain of his own Ralchio Nervi's task force due to Ralchio's relationship with Lila Nervi of the Nervi family. Nervi wished to oust Grand Moff Ravik by taking a Rebel Alliance–supporting facility on the planet Xorrn and locate the Alliance Fleet, choosing not to report his attack as he believed that Ravik would send another subordinate and take the credit.
