The Qel-Droma Epics were stories that detailed the Unification Wars by the Empress Teta alongside Jedi Master Odan-Urr, as well as her resistance to the invasion of Empress Teta by the Sith Lord Naga Sadow and his forces during the Great Hyperspace War.
They also detailed the life of Jedi Knight Ulic Qel-Droma, namesake of the epics, who was believed to have infiltrated the Krath during their bloody crusade, which saw the death of Ulic's master, and his fall to the dark side alongside the Sith Lord Exar Kun, and his eventual redemption.
Double-bladed lightsabers dated back to Exar Kun and the Epics. Historians believe the epic poems taught young Jedi the dangers of the dark side of the Force, but many inhabitants of Empress Teta believe the stories originate in historical fact. Archaeological expeditions failed to verify the legends.
