The episode opens with Luke Skywalker entering Princess Leia Organa's cell aboard the Death Star to rescue her. Leia gives an unfazed look. Han Solo warns Luke that they have got company. Leia and Luke pop their heads out just as stormtroopers charge into Detention Block AA-23 firing their blasters. As Han, Luke, and Chewbacca exchange fire with stormtroopers, Leia complains that this is not rescue.
The narrator then explains that in a "galaxy of adventures", the Princess sometimes does the rescuing. Leia grabs Luke's blaster and enters the gun battle. The video then flashes forward to Luke and Leia trying to cross a chasm to reach the other side. As stormtroopers on the other side shoot at them, Leia pushes Luke, who has gotten himself tangled with rope, behind a panel. She then opens fire on the stormtroopers.
The video is then accompanied by shots of Leia leading rebel forces during the Battle of Hoth, Leia strangling Jabba Desilijic Tiure, and Luke and Leia riding a 74-Z speeder bike on Endor. The video also flashes forward to a scene of Leia, Luke, and Han receiving medals following the Battle of Yavin. The camera zooms in on a beaming Leia.
Returning to the present, Leia shoots a stormtrooper, causing him to crash and knock down several of his comrades in the detention block. Running low on ammunition, Leia shoots the hatch to the garbage chute open. Han demands to know what she is doing but Leia responds that someone has to do the rescuing. She then pushes Luke and Chewbacca down the garbage chute. Before sliding down, she tells Han to follow them down the garbage compactor.
