The Orphans, also known as Chanath Cha and the Orphans, were a group of orphans led by the bounty hunter Chanath Cha. In addition to Cha, the members consisted of Sear, the droid Ladybright, and Imara Vex. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the group became allied with the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn, and were present among other individuals and groups on the Dawn's flagship, the Vermillion, when Lady Qi'ra revealed to them about the true state of the galaxy. Sometime after, Qi'ra sent the Orphans to carry out an attack on the Black Sun smash-processing lab on Dantooine, which the group completed succesfully.
