Novanian grog

Novanian grog was a type of grog. The Sullustan Rebel pilot Nien Nunb knew a bartender who worked in the Eladro City bazaar on the planet Basteel who was capable of making good quality Novanian grog. When the pilot was part of an Alliance to Restore the Republic team who visited Basteel after the Battle of Hoth as part of Operation Yellow Moon, he hoped to find the bartender again for more of the grog. The Sullustan did manage to locate and drink some of the grog, but soon had to return to his yacht the Mellcrawler as Imperial stormtroopers began searching the city.

Novanian grog first appeared in the Star Wars Legends 1979 novel Han Solo at Stars' End, which was written by Brian Daley. The grog was then mentioned for the first time in canon in Jason Fry and Cecil Castellucci's 2015 novel Moving Target: A Princess Leia Adventure.
