A mission to the planet Kudo was undertaken by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. The rebels' objective was to locate local Kudon freedom fighters who were resisting the Galactic Empire, hoping to provide them with the support of the Rebellion's connections and resources. While the rebels were stationed on Kudo, the Empire sent an agent of the Imperial Security Bureau to investigate Kudo. The rebels managed to incapacitate the agent before he could discover the freedom fighters, who the Alliance forces then met with to provide support. Princess Leia Organa offered to assist the freedom fighters in evacuating with the Rebellion's own forces, but the Kudon declined, wishing to continue fighting for their planet.
