A mission was undertaken by Alliance to Restore the Republic operatives Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker to the planet Bogano between 0 BBY and 3 ABY during the Galactic Civil War. Hoping to use the planet as a potential rebel base, the duo instead found that the world had been set upon by stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire, who were in the process of rounding up the native boglings. With the help of a local binog, however, the rebels defeated the troopers and freed the boglings. Deciding that erecting a military base on Bogano would put its indigenous life in danger, Organa and Skywalker departed the planet in search of another potential home.
