During the early days of the Galactic War, the Jedi Knight known as the Hero of Tython undertook a mission to the contested planet of Balmorra in order to retrieve a prototype cloaking device. Working with Jedi Master Warren Sedoru, Colonel Finley of the Republic's Fifth Expeditionary Force, and the Balmorran resistance, the Hero and crew tracked the prototype across the planet and finally located it in the Balmorran Arms Factory. The prototype was needed by a Jedi strike team being formed by Jedi Master Tol Braga with the purpose of capturing the Sith Emperor and a joint mission by the Hero and the medic Doc successfully retrieved the prototype from the factory.
