Meysor

Meysor was a male individual who was the adopted son of the crime lord Lacezzi Macran, leader of the Firaxa Syndicate on Level 1313 of the planet Coruscant. Macran hoped for Meysor to eventually inherit control of the Firaxa Syndicate. Meysor owned a pet sarlacc, which escaped from captivity, causing a number of deaths across Level 1313, and Macran hired the bounty hunter Asajj Ventress to solve the disappearances. Meysor betrayed Ventress and rescued his sarlacc after she led him to the creature, but Ventress survived to track Meysor down. Meysor attempted to protect the creature from Ventress, but his efforts were meaningless, as the sarlacc ate him once it had been freed.

Keeping secrets

During the final years of the Galactic Republic, Meysor was adopted by the Selkath crime lord Lacezzi Macran, leader of the Firaxa Syndicate. Meysor lived with his adoptive father on Level 1313 of Coruscant, the capital planet of the Republic. Macran hoped that Meysor would inherit the crime syndicate following his time as its leader.

While living on Coruscant, Meysor secretly kept a pet sarlacc, having owned it since it was an infant. At some point between 20 BBY and 19 BBY, the sarlacc escaped, multiplying across Level 1313 and causing havoc throughout the city, with its offspring killing numerous individuals. Macran, unaware of Meysor's sarlacc, hired the bounty hunter Asajj Ventress to investigate the disappearances. When Ventress questioned why Macran hired her, Meysor interjected, stating that she was unaffiliated with the Firaxa Syndicate's rivals.

Treachery and death

As Ventress searched Level 1313, Meysor contacted her, keeping up with the bounty hunter's progress. Ventress managed to locate the sarlacc, which blinded her with its spores. Meysor, who had been following Ventress, shot her with his blaster and rescued the sarlacc, returning it to its tank.

However, Ventress had recognized Meysor before blacking out, and tracked him down to confront him. Meysor threatened Ventress with his blaster, but the bounty hunter used her lightsabers to destroy the weapon. Pushing Meysor aside, Ventress cut open the tank, and was shocked by Meysor's sarlacc. Meysor stood between Ventress and the sarlacc, attempting to stop the bounty hunter from killing his pet. As Meysor insisted of the sarlacc's innocence, the creature took hold of him and swallowed him alive.

Legacy

Following Meysor's death, Ventress managed to eliminate all but one of the sarlaccs. Despite what Meysor had done, Macran refused to pay Ventress for the job due to the death of his son. As a result, Ventress left Macran with the last remaining sarlacc, which subsequently killed the crime lord. Several years later, the story of Ventress's job, including Meysor's involvement and death, was known by Vaneé, the attendant of the Sith Lord Darth Vader. Vaneé told the tale to Lieutenant Thom Hudd of the Rebel Alliance as the latter attempted to escape imprisonment within Vader's fortress during the Imperial Era.

Despite the danger that sarlaccs posed, Meysor chose to keep one as a pet within the heavily populated Level 1313. He was unconcerned with the deaths that his pet sarlacc caused, still protesting when Ventress attempted to kill the creature. Ventress described Meysor as cowardly for shooting her in the back once she had found the sarlacc.

Meysor was a male individual of a species that possessed pointed ears, horns, and a long tail. He had orange fur, black eyes, and tan skin.
