The Lobber, also known as Lobber, was the self-given title of a Devaronian male criminal who lived during the Republic Era. Alongside Ghor and Wungo, The Lobber attempted to hijack the Regal Voyager transport Regal Zephyr for one of the pirate gangs that operated in The Slice—although the three could not decide which—but their efforts were foiled by the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. The three hijackers were forced to disembark at Randon, where they stowed away on a freighter that was stolen by Zilastra, leader of the Riftwalkers pirate gang. Zilastra reluctantly allowed them to join the Riftwalkers, providing them with menial tasks and intending to let the three perish in her attack on the members of the Jedi High Council on the planet Kwenn. The Lobber and his companions were once again encountered by Jinn and Kenobi aboard Zilastra's flagship, the Randomizer, eventually helping the Jedi take control of the ship. Afterwards, Jinn and Kenobi offered the three a contract with Galactic City Recovery on Coruscant, where they could repossess starships for a proper cause.
