The Kunga were a Dantari tribe from Dantooine. Most of the Kunga lived in their village and the tribe also established a stronghold in a cave. The Kunga were in conflict with the Janta and the Mokk, another Dantari tribes.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire considered the Kunga as a threat for their troops.
The Kunga appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
