During the Cold War, Overseer Tremel had sent a promising young Sith Acolyte to Knash's prison cells with a mission to interrogate and judge three prisoners: Solentz, Devotek, and Brehg. When the acolyte arrived, they witnessed Knash use a shock collar on the Twi'lek slave Vette. Knash introduced the Acolyte to the three prisoners and guided them through the interrogation, leaving them to decide the prisoner's fates. Knash reported the results to Tremel.
Knash later released Vette into the hands of the acolyte, who required her help in breaching the Tomb of Naga Sadow during their final trials.
