The Kiris shipyards were created sometime around 30 ABY by Thrackan Sal-Solo and his supporters, and were being used to create a secret Corellian fleet.
During Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo's secret visit to the Kiris Asteroid Cluster at the edge of the Corellian system, it was discovered that the shipyards contained a fleet large enough to smash the Galactic Alliance blockade in the system. The fleet included three Corellian Dreadnaughts which included the Corellian flagship, the Thrackan Sal-Solo.
