KA-336

After Sabé was assigned a mission to assassinate the Skakoan nationalist Jul Tambor, the two guards took bets in the armory of the Executor about whether Sabé would survive. Four days later, the two were notified of Sabé's return to the Executor and headed to her personal quarters to report for duty. When they arrived they were greeted by the Sith assassin Ochi and Sabé, though in reality it was the former handmaiden Dormé disguised as Sabé. Dormé confronted the troopers, stating that she had received intelligence that her recent mission may had been compromised and questioned the two about whether they had spoken to anyone about where she was going or what she was doing.

One of the troopers responded that they had not, and Dormé then asked if they had discussed it amongst themselves, to which the troopers revealed about their incident in the armory, though they claimed it was them wondering how their commander's mission was going. Dormé quickly corrected them that they were making bets on her survivial, and asked what facts about her classified mission the two had spoken out loud in a public location. One of the troopers admitted they had mentioned that Sabé was heading out on the orders of Darth Vader in disguise and alone to assassinate Tambor.

Sometime later, Vader had Admiral Firmus Piett inform Dormé that her presence was requested by him. When she arrived, Vader stood with his lightsaber drawn and both KA-336 and KV-222 on their knees, and told the commander that the two guards had failed her and the Empire. Vader then questioned Dormé what she intended to do about the failure, and the two troopers begged to their commander that they had not. The Sith Lord questioned the troopers why that despite the fact she was going to kill them, all they did was beg. The troopers then tried to grab an E-11 medium blaster rifle that Dormé also reached for, but the troopers were unable to grab it. KA-336 and KV-222 attempted to overpower Dormé and claim the weapon, but she claimed the blaster and shot them, though non-fatally, which confirmed to Vader it was not Sabé, and he demanded to know who she was. As Vader choked Dormé with the Force, she informed Vader that Sabé would have done the same thing as she had to the troopers, which Vader dismissed.
