Jul Tambor was a Skakoan male nationalist and pirate who was the grandson of Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor and the son of Wat Tambor II. Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Tambor led an uprising to reclaim the planet Skako Minor from a regime loyal to the Galactic Empire. According to the Empire, Tambor enlisted pirates to blockade the planet and to stockpile technology of all kinds. Darth Vader and the former handmaiden Sabé were sent to stop Tambor. His ultimate fate was held in the hands of Sabé. While on Brentaal IV, Tambor stated the pirates who attacked did not work for him, but, with the bombing of Kantiema, it became clear to the Skakoans he was not the selfless savior he presented himself as.
