After the bombing, Sabé questioned Tambor as to what he had done, to which the Skakoan responded that he had ended it by killing Vader, and that a Tambor would once again rule Skako Minor. Sabé confronted Tambor's words, stating that he had previously informed her that he only wanted to free his people from the Empire, and not rule over them. As Tambor bragged that he would rule as foreman like his grandfather had done, Sabé revealed that she had been with the supposed captives all along, and they had heard what Tambor said. One of the refugees replied by stating that Tambor had bombed the city, despite being told the refugees were there, and now wanted to rule over them. Tambor heard the refugee and began to panic.
The incident left Tambor's hopes of liberating Skako Minor in tatters, he was discredited and now powerless. Sabé then traveled to Skako Minor with the refugees, who were granted amnesty. Following the refugees return, representatives from the Ruling Council and the refugee leadership began a process of repatriation and armistice. Sabé and the Empire then destroyed Tambor's droid army, with his also being eliminated. Though she allowed Tambor to escape, she later stated to Vader was by design as his death would only result in him becoming a martyr, and the Empire now had a chance at peace.
