During their time there, a number of rebels—including Jinsol, Maediyu, and Twitch—were attacked, and Jinsol came out of the fight with a broken nose. Although the attackers could have been a low-level gang, the rebel Brand knew that Ankhural was crime-ridden and became convinced they were the "real powers in Ankhural" wanting the 61st to leave.
