Jedi Concentration

Jedi Concentration, also known as Sith Concentration when used by Sith, was an ancient Force power accessible by Jedi. It allowed its user to wield the Force to convert buildings and heavy weapons controlled by an enemy faction to their alignment. Knowledge of Jedi Concentration could be found at an ancient grove on the moon Alaris Prime.

Between 39 BBY and 36 BBY, the Wookiee colonists of Alaris Prime uncovered a holocron which revealed that the ancient grove was near a base. Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, who had arrived at the base to aid the Wookiees in their battle against the Trade Federation, was able to take the path to the grove and learn the power of Jedi Concentration. Jinn was delighted by the discovery and was able to use the ability against the Trade Federation.

Jedi Concentration appeared in the 2001 LucasArts video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. It can be researched at either a Jedi or Sith Temple at the cost of 350 nova crystals. The Galactic Empire, the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the Royal Naboo, and the Galactic Republic in the 2002 expansion Clone Campaigns are the only civilizations which can access Jedi/Sith Concentration in the standard game settings. An image of Luke Skywalker using the Force on the planet Dagobah from the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back is used to represent the upgrade in Galactic Battlegrounds.

In the seventh level of the Wookiee tutorial campaign, "The Battle for Alaris Prime," the player can optionally access Jedi Concentration by sending Qui-Gon Jinn to the ancient grove.
