Imperial Station 003, also known as the Imperial Orbital Space Station, was a space station orbiting the Imperial capital planet Coruscant. Similar in appearance to an enlarged ICM-092792 orbital station, it hosted multiple hangar bays and could dock up to eight Venator-class Star Destroyers in external docking arms.
In 18 BBY, the station was guarded by several clone commandos and TK stormtroopers and was used to collect Force-sensitive children captured from around the galaxy by class one bounty hunters. The children were exchanged with credits in the station's hangars and were then transported to the Advanced Science Division's Tantiss Base for experimentation. The station was also the penultimate destination for Science Division transports heading to Tantiss, as they had their crew and cargo inspected before given clearance to depart. The coordinates to the base were then transmitted directly to the starships' navigation computer via a secure link to allow them to perform a hyperspace jump to Wayland without the crew ever learning of its coordinate location.
